limted food to cook

I would like to know why I can only cook about five dishes but all my friends have more dishes to cook , plus I'm on level 29 and I'm using a HTC EVO

Are you utilizing all the appliances....ovens, grills, and stoves. You're allowed only so many, as u prob know, so u may need to store a stove then buy an oven or grill to do those recipes.
