Early Battlegrounds Charts/Guides?

I don't think this has been brought up for a while since, as long-term players of FFS the newer levels haven't been a priority for us at all, but...

I noticed in the Game Guides/Battlegrounds threads that the early Battlegrounds levels don't have complete information to help guide newer users through the levels like the Terrorier/Blizzard/Thorilla/Twilight Troll threads have. In every new Battleground/Tournament post that is new-ish, we have complete guides on what animal we're going to battle, what elements to use, chart guides, etc. But for Ancient Sloth and Hydro Yak we don't really have a thread for them individually, let alone complete info on what animal is to be battled each level we progress, or what to use to get the best results :( For new users this must suck the big one and be pretty confusing, all around. (I, myself, would have benefited greatly having a complete guide for Ancient Sloth and Hydro Yak when I was just starting out).

I think we all can agree, as old hands at this game (or at least ones that have been around for a few months), that starting out it would have been nice to have had the first two battleground animals' level info in threads easy to find with complete information contained therein.

So... should the forum users come together to piece together two complete guides (for the Ancient Sloth and Hydro Yak respectively), or can the mods help update the Battlegrounds Thread to give a more accurate and complete listing (last I looked the 'all-purpose' Battleground thread in the Game Guides section was pretty sparse and hasn't be updated in quite some time)?

Thoughts, everyone? 'Cause as it is, new users are probably struggling to find any complete info on those two battlegrounds and are more than likely frustrated that every other battlegrounds thread exists but those first two...

That site has all info about the Battlegrounds :) You're welcome!

About the animals or elements you should use for the opponents from Ancient Sloth and Hydro Yak Battlegrounds, you can search in the Twilight Troll, Terrorier, Thorilla and Blizard's Battlegrounds threads, each battleground has 80 levels, so the elements repeat a lot of times, you only need to search for the element of combination of elements and copy the info for what to use against that specific animal :)

I was thinking, we should have a thread were we only had the info about all each Battleground, because when the old Battlegrounds threads doesn't have activite, the thread desappear from the main page o the forum, and then the specific thread of each Battleground like we already have.

Another thing, this can be helpful too, not like Zen gives, but it helps a little ahah

Okay, now that they've corrected the ruining of all tables on this forum, I can get to adding tables for all the battlegrounds with recommended animals... Once I've updated my battle suggestions list to include the new type (gem-earth) where it would be useful. :)

Lol I felt bad for you when I saw that... I don't know how much longer you can keep adding new elements before it just gets too crazy, especially if we're getting like one a month. I realllllly hope that doesn't happen but it seems like it will.

This is what I would do!

I mean, I personally don't really identify with the graphical version and prefer the text-version 1000% more, but I think separating out basic elements (that everyone has) and then having an extra image(s) somehow incorporating the special elements would work better.

I can dig up a graphic with no holiday elements, and no living wood. I'll just wait to see if the right-brained folks who use the graphics rather than charts prefer the new pictographic as opposed to the color blocks. Pictographic (where lines indicate strong/weak relationships. As always, above = strong to, below = weak).

I tried it with the pictures and it's still a little convoluted when you include treasure. I was thinking of maybe doing one with only elements that can combine with each other, permanently. So, no treasure, no living wood, no holiday elements. Just fire, nature, earth, water, dark, electric, gem. Period. I'm going to take a look at that now.

lol. So I typed up the entire Ancient Sloth battleground, with all the images for strong and weak and... the forum has a limit on images per post. So I can't make a post for each battleground with the images. If I make composite images, I can make a separate post for every 20 BG levels. But I didn't reserve enough spaces for that. :( And while others are given a little or a lot of leeway, I personally am not allowed to start any new threads for anything that could even remotely be considered a duplicate of any other thread. So I can't start a new one like this.

Anyway, I'll get to work tomorrow on doing a couple more battlegrounds like the Ancient Sloth complete one on page 1. No fancy-schmancy stuff though, I'm afraid.
