it's a bit early for st. pat's. it's not a major enough holiday to start a month in advance, i think. I am hoping for soul food (it's black history month!), but it will probably be one of the out-of-nowhere themes, like pirates or firefighters.

I wouldn't mind some stuff for Lunar New Year, even though we had the Korean update recently. More soul food/New Orleans stuff would be really cool too!

Yay I like this! Not really into St. Paddy's stuff so I think I'll be doing a fastfood theme for March instead so I could use the kitchen bundle. :) Or maybe I'll mix in the green stuff if we're getting a St. Paddy's goal next month.

Super awesome update! This will go perfect with the kitchen box to create an actual restaurant!!! Who would have thought that would ever be possible in a game called Restaurant Story!!!! That window is by far my fave!!!

hmm…i think drink machine is part of the cash register decor, just cause that would make it square instead of 3x2. love all of it though! always glad to have food themes, although i'm still waiting for a more sophisticated one!

it would go great with some of the kiddie area decorations too, since fast food places are the ones you're likely to find those in.

I'm in love with this update! The drive thru is by far my favorite. I really hope this isn't a bundle. It wouldn't be fair for the others who have android.(I'm iOS and I know plenty of frustrated people on android)

That is exactly what I was thinking. I can section off a little area in the summer months that will attach to my outside garden area and have a kiddie area. Even the wallpaper would go with that theme.

Ohhh, and both the table and chair are for coins too! Booth Chair = 5,000. Fast Food Table = 20,000.

I'm a bit disappointed that the wallpaper is for 1 gem as I really wanted that and I refuse to buy wallpaper for gems. :(

So my guess is that BS will get a new version before RS but I don't know, I know they are sorting out the issues regarding Lollipop with Samsung S5 users but I don't know. I'm currently using my iPhone for the time being

Honestly, I'm not really motivated to buy any of it with no space left from all the beautiful decor I have on my main account. Why haven't we gotten an update that expands more space for decorating. This is a decorating game after all...

Wow so many recipes lately that I'm falling way behind--still working on the last few recipes of kid's kitchen set, to say nothing of the goal recipes and last week's recipes. Keep them coming though, I definitely need the gems after spending so much on the Valentine's day sale. The fast food items have decent designs but are too expensive for me at this time.

i actually don't terribly mind the prices--the burger station is the price of a single box open, and is way better than what you'd likely get if you opened a box only once. tables & chairs are both for coins. and sure, i'd rather have 35 gems than 45, but at least the drive through window isn't 70 gems! it is too bad about the wallpaper though.

and most importantly, it's not a bundle, so i can actually buy any of it that i want. which is great, cause i'm still pretty annoyed about the mardi gras update. still considering whether i'm annoyed enough to not buy gems in the future.

45 gems for the window does seem extravagant, but it may just be worth it depending on the detail :)

No it isn't functional and the appliance is just part of the decoration. When you tap on either the whole thing lights up, you know with the yellow glow around it showing that you've tapped it? It's cute though and most probably would've been a first or at the least second place item in a box so the gem cost really is reasonable for it.

Hey everyone I like this update. The Drive Thru Window is unique in that it is kind of like a wall decoration within a floor decoration, the burger thingy looks really cute and two new recipes and one rare drink (wish for new Grill recipes tho).

The table and chair both costing coins is cool, but let's hope that they don't all always cost coins or that is boring!

The continuity with the GranGran Logo gets the nod of approval from me. The thing I wish is that it was a 2-wall wall decoration, we've not seen one of those for three weeks now!

I'm glad that the beargur mascot is not too pricey, it will goes well with the kids theme we got previously. The drive-thru is nice, but you gotta place beside a wall. Otherwise, it will look kinda awkward standing alone. Lol

I see they changed the cook time for the Sweet Potato Fries to 7 hours! I started some this morning along with another 4 hour recipe but they weren't ready. That's not cool!

Why is it that IOS users continually get updates, different recipes and other features for Restaurant Story long before Android users. The Happy Lunar New Year update is available for IOS.. users. It looks like a cute update.

I wanted to come check that I'm not crazy and the sweet potato fries were indeed 4 hours when they were first released. Thanks for making me feel a little less crazy everyone! But yeah that's weird I don't remember them ever changing a cook time on something after we already got the new recipe. Oh well. At least we are FINALLY getting new recipes on our regular oven/stoves on RS and BS!!! I'll take it.

There were more significant changes to the sweet potato fries and Mexican chocolate milkshake recipes than just their cook times. The milkshake batch cost was 660, now it's 740. Total serving quantity was 1200, now it's 1400. XP was 61, now it's 71. Coins earned was 2400, now it's 2800. For a two hour cook time increase, these changes are reasonable (but the recipe itself wasn't so great to start with, and earns just two coins per serving, an important factor to those players who want to maximize earnings.)

The fries are a different story. They were unusual when introduced as they were a three-coin-per-serving recipe, but no longer earn that well. Here are their changes: the fries' batch cost was 330, now it's 660. Total serving quantity was 550, now it's 1200. XP was 51, now 61. Coins earned was 1650, now 2400. (So it now earns two coins per serving rather than three.) This recipe wasn't great to start with and, after the changes, went completely downhill.

I won't be cooking either of these recipes to serve, and would be really curious to know TL's rationale for these changes. (Wait, did I just use the words TL and rationale together? Oh, I crack myself up!) I would be even more curious to know: since TL added cook time to recipes already on players' stoves, did they also deduct additional coins from players' accounts to compensate for the change in the recipes' costs?

love potion mixer and kids kitchen set - all recipes are $2/plate only.
if they make such a lowcosters, wd be great they at list made higher yields, whch is very actual in restaurant...

I'm on Android and didn't have to download anything new for these updates/goals. Haven't downloaded a new version since Christmas. I would try shutting down the game and restarting.

PS I wouldn't download any new version until I get the gem offer for doing so, otherwise you can lose out (been there, done that, won't do that again ;)).

it's not the goals that are in the new version of RS, it's the fast food decor. if you really had this thread's decor in your android game without having to install a new version, you're probably playing one of the really old versions, because i think that's the only way around updating.

has anyone downloaded yet? i'm curious, but not particularly hopeful, about bundle (or bundle decor) availability.

I started play last September and am playing the Outdoors version. I mentioned goals and updates because the previous poster (VanaCatu) mentioned the Valentine's goals and the fast food items. I do have all the fast food items in my inventory. :)

I've just had a light bulb moment and feel really stupid.

I play on an Android tablet and on an iPad. I have just realised that I have the items in my inventory on my iPad only. It never occurred to me that I would see something different when I play using my Android tablet.

I am so sorry for causing confusion and making an idiot of myself.

Finally did the update version. A nbr told me the name of the newest version to look for, if you try to find the
newest version doing a Google play search on RS it won't come up with the new one. Once updated, I now
have the fast food items.
