Wow, my head is spinning! A tourney beginning just as the Valentine's Event ends? (I'm exhausted from all the games, lol!) And a spin-thing, too! At least I got a dragon 1st try (last time, I only got coins & maps--so frustrating!)

Anyway, I just threw in random dragons in 3 accounts to get started, and they all took out Metal. Tried Poison Ivy 10, Headless 8, & Landworm 7.

Like LonePudding, I want a Warrior King for my Warrior Queen!

I don't take notes any more as I have so many champions and a reasonable number of diamonds but I used to do a table per tournament with 4 columns

1. Dragon opponent
2. Dragons people had successfully used on forum
3. A list of 5 or 6 dragons I intended to try using battle calculator as a guide - if they lost I circled them.

I am sure other people have better systems than me.

Thanks! Sounds way cleaner looking than what I have! I just write the opponent and a few picks off the calculator with their percentage.

My Aether10 beat mummy with just one hit

Also- if I didn't have a dragon others used, I look for my rarest, (then highest) level dragon with the same colors and tried those. And- sometimes my dragon had to battle twice to win.

I don't have any diamonds and the last tournament was my first champion win, so it can be done! :)Good luck!

No problem. Just send the dragon to the spa and try another one an hour later. I've read where people have lost well over a dozen times in a given round and went on to win the tournament boss. My worst has been 9 losses a couple of times in different tournaments. One I finished and one I didn't.

Please accept my apologies for the questions I have, I looked all over, almost through 50 pages of comments and can't find the answers. I am Android and just updated to begin doing the tournament. Now, if I lose a round, is there any chance to still win the dragon prize?

No need to worry. Ask away and as often as you like. If you lose s round, you wait and battle the same round again until you beat the the opponent. We all usually have losses at one point or another during the tournament. You have to keep battling until you beat the round. in order to win the tournament boss(prize) you must win all rounds. I hope this helps.

Hi Trauma. It is always a pleasure to hear from you. What rotten luck to be on a losing streak at the beginning. I see your point as it would be discouraging if I had that happen to me. I have been using my winners from the Berserker Tournament and have been doing very well hence currently I am on round 25.

Check which ones of your champions are super rare rather than rare. They are stronger in the arena.
I recently checked and found that Guardian I was so fond of using (and lost many battles against easy opponents) is actually only rare. I switched to Barbarian and Highland, my only Epic super rare champs and have been much more successful since.

Incidently, Warrior queen is super rare.

hi everyone .. thought I would come in very quickly to say hello and see how you are all getting on.
I am sorry but this is just one that wont be happening for me - I have too much on and with 4 losses on the first 4 dragons with a 90% chance to win its really not very encouraging :)

However I have now lost several diamonds to diamond prism, although beat it with quetzal on my other account.

i used Dawntree in this one and the berserker tourney to defeat Diamodn Prism

Stuck on #20 Avenging. I'm an android user so I don't have any of the really powerful dragons iOS users do, and I was never able to breed a Diamond or any other Ultra Rare, so I'm left with only semi-powerful dragons. I've been switching Metal, Dawntree, and Raven and no luck after six rounds. I'm not about to pay for the crit unless I'm at the final stage, so I'll just keep trying. ETA: I do have a Passion, but it's only lvl 7 and no way am I going to lvl it up in time for it to do me any good.

Epic Kitsune finally takes down Templar after he got my Diamond, Lotus, Passion, and half dozen others... tell me it gets better. I guess I can't complain. Thanks to all your hints, Templar was the first one I had to fight more than once.

I used a baby lv1 fire :)
