Beat Avenging with Air 1 second try, I was so surprised.

I suggest using baby fire/forest/air for this round if no diamond, because almost all dragons have equal chances(10%) so it's just easier to use a dragon that doesn't need to be healed if defeated.

Try level 1 dragons in between while you heal your best dragons. The higher percentage dragons to use are Passion, Diamond, Infinity, Pyramid and Soccer. I defeated it with a Firestorm level 4.

In all actually every dragon has only a 10% chance in beating it. Try newer types and any level including level 1, and other babies.

I too finally just got past Templar with Lightning on his second try after a dozen other losses (too many to list) ! Woohoo!

From what I can see, rounds 15,20 and 25 seem to be especially difficult. I'm guessing it's because the reward for these are 5 gold so they are harder to beat.

I very often find if I lose 2 champs in a row it means for some reason that dragon just is not happy with champs, so I switch to one of the other options - I got Camelot down with FLuffles last time ... have you tried Marshmallow or Easter egg ?
Sometines just changing the colours you are fighting with does the trick ... I have found in the past even when everyone else is winning with champs and I am not if I switch to another dragon who is still going to do well against that one it helps ... Hope you get through !! I have had some very glum faces at home in the last 3 tournaments so I can understand how you feel ;(

I beat Templar first try with a level 5 Love Dragon. Oddly enough I was reading an old thread on how to beat tournaments without any champs and somebody had posted their baby love dragon knocked out a champ on the first try. I gave it a try and I won. I made it to level 18 without any loses yet with no champ. Idk if I will be able to beat this one but I'm only getting further each tournament so I know soon enough I will finally get my first champ. thanks azucita for the Mercury suggestion! This might sound crazy but when I admire dragons in battle I beat them. I was saying in my head 'doesn't Mercury have a nice tail?' Then I defeated it! Then on the other account I liked steel samurai's wings and then he dies! Try it if youre struggling (not out loud though lol)

I tried this too with Avenging - He wasn't buying it! Next time I'm going to trash talk him!!!

20- avenging < ultimate after 12 losses
21- diamond prism < quetzal 10 (bmb) after losing quetzal 2x, prism, gold2x and Infiniti all epic
22-Mercury < Anubis 10 (B) after losing with quetzal 10
Then the stupid game reset again and I had to fight Mercury again and I've lost with Anubis and quetzal and gold, Infiniti finally beat with quetzal 10 (bmb)

Keep trying the diamond hybrid also alternate it with baby dragon like fire, forest, air and see which come close .You can easily sell d baby dragon and buy new ones.

Mercury got my Diamond down, so I tried with Forest, which came VERY close (bmm). Am gonna try it again, but this time just with magic.
I've had good results when using Night against Diamond, but this time it did not work. Thinking on the principle of scissers-paper-rock, the best I could come up with is, actually, Forest: plants thrive on water, and "swallow" the diamond.... Let's see how far my theory will bring me. (also thought of Winter - freezing the water, but it is then a water-water fight, so put if off for now)

i have read a while ago that black is, it does not always work i have to say, but it works for me 50% of the time, so i always give it a go :)

Make babies. Baby fire costs 10 and takes just a few seconds to hatch. You just need a free nest. Baby fire and baby forest are very inexpensive.

So far, after literally a day and a half, I've got nothing. I suspect I won't be making it through this event.

Then the stupid game reset again and I had to fight Mercury again and I've lost with Anubis and quetzal and gold, Infiniti finally beat with quetzal 10 (bmb)

Last time I beat Crusader with Winer1 bb, before with Storm7, Mist3. Maybe try single element water or air, or try blue-White or yellow- White, just try any babies with this combo.

Oh it's awful! I've been dealing with the spa line for months now. Every tournament adds to the next...I've not been able to catch up. Several tourneys ago I hit round 30 with a full day left so I was not going to ultimate it I was gonna battle. I had over 40 dragons in the spa que. I will get some healed and another tourny or mini one will pop up. I had 25 dragons left before this one started. I'm scared to count where I'm at now! I've never had lines before in the years I've been playing!

Venetian worked for me and I saw it in a few others lists. Last time my mummy took it down but it didn't work for me this round.

Glad to know I'm not the only one. I'm concentrating on getting the most powerful dragons through first. Anything else can wait around awhile (I'm looking at you, Fire).

Welp, Blue Moon went down to Magma. Guess I'll try Independence next. I'm using the battle calculator on the Wiki, but I'm really starting to think random chance has more to do with victory than anything else. That's the only explanation I can think of when some people are taking these dragons down with babies.

I would keep trying blue/yellow combos or stone dragon. See what came closest and try that. Mist has worked for me in the past :). Good luck

I am in shock, my first try at Warrior King and my Epic Diamond brought him home with two magic shots. My Warrior Queen is ecstatic and she was an awesome competitor taking out Crusader and Razorback.

Holy $#!+, I took Crusader down on the first try with Mother! I KNOW it's just chance, but it feels so great to be lucky after that day and a half of wrestling with Mercury.

Well, at least the chances on Razorback are equally crappy with all dragons. I won't feel frustrated with not having suitably rare dragons.

Which one came close if babies fire or forest sell them and get another but if others try to heal them and use d sequence dat was stronger u can measure it buy checking which hit affected d opponent more and use again.
