glimmer rock formation

Can anyone tell me what the glimmer rock formation drops?
I would like to know exactly what i will be dropping gems on before i do so.
And if i actually need any of it.

I've only chopped one. It dropped a few glimmer bits (4 of each), some silver and jewels. Not worth the gem price in my opinion.
