I NEVER see the gems from neighbors....!

Please help... I've been playing Fantasy Forest since day one and I've not once seen the gems gifted to me daily from my dear neighbors! That's a LOT of gems at 3 gifts per day!! The only way I have gems is if I buy them (like just now!)!! I gift daily in return and I'm now curious to know if my neighbors are receiving my gem gifts?! Please help! And is there a way to get the missing gifts? Thanks!

How do you know that neighbors have sent you gems?
