No Gold Sales

I have been playing DS for just under 2 years and have several accounts only 1 gets gold sales. have written to TL several times with the response that it is a random pick of who gets gold sales. My gripe is the one I do get gold sales on gets them frequently, like twice a week. My son has two games and they get game sales every other day, do not see how this is random.
Shouldn't all players be on a level playing field!
