Mining issues

My mine is acting weird - it's very slow and I can only place bombs around the center area. It was fine a few days ago.

I don't know how to show it on a screen shot. It will basically only let you tap in certain areas. Very reduced from normal. I don't want to waste my bombs & dynamites so I'm hoping TL fixes soon so I don't have to leave my eggs on the next & Dragons in the evolution chamber.

Not sure if this is the same as the people above but it seems the mining area has changed on my game too. I can not mine as far out as before. Is this an intended change? (This is on my iPad)

For me, It's on the iPad not the iPhone. I also have an iPhone 6plus; no problem with mining on it.

Mine too...playing on iPad mini. Have the current game version and iOS updated itself yesterday. Noticed mining trouble today.

I play on an IPAD Mini and I am having the same issue after the latest update. It appears that the place for placing mines and dynamite is smaller.

The top left corner of the mine seems not responding after the "so called bug fixed" on Feb 3, nothing has improved in fact it has gone worst. Can some one please fix this.

No one has answered it and the bug is still there.
Yes after the update the mine changed a bit,the holes looks a bit smaller I see but there is nothing happen in the left part

Yep. Same here. It's smaller and inaccurate. Had to stop mining because I'm wasting bombs. They really need to change it back if this is something new they're trying

My mine is limited as well, a very small space that will actually let me tap and that changes each time, had to waste a few bombs because of it. I had thought my iPad was malfunctioning as well.

You can still Mine as before, it's just the dimensions of the mining areas appear smaller on larger devices, like iPads. It is just shrunk smaller, but you can continue to Mine like before.

Hi there! When you Mine, does the app freeze, and you are forced to exit the app? We apologize for the mine size being smaller for iPads, but we are currently working on this matter, so please be on the lookout for a future update!

My wife and I both have iPad Air 2s. We've both been having issues with not being able to use the outer areas of the mining field ever since we installed the latest iOS update. Also, sometimes when you tap even the center area it doesn't respond until you move to another location. We just got iPhone 6s this week, and don't have the same issue on those. It doesn't freeze, nor force us to exit; it just doesn't respond to touch in certain areas.

Same here. Glad it's not just me, I thought I was having problems using the iPad and felt kinda silly. Lol.

Sometimes I tap tap tap and it won't recgnize thT I'm tapping and can't get anything. Then eventually I get one, but it's awkward and slow and can't use the entire screen. Tried force closing, etc but still the same.

Glad the fix is on the way. Seems to be wasting bombs so I'm going to stop for a while.

Could we get an extension on the sandstone dragon mining?

Same problem on my ipad! This morning did the update and mining is almost not possible anymore! Bad response to my touch and and no mining in the outer frame of the mine possible anymore! I need more land parts and would love to get sandstorm dragon, but like this it isn't possible anymore. Pleace advice.

When I mine, I just ran into the same issue and the game force closes and I have to reopen it to do anything else. All items during the mining is lost along with the bomb used to start it.

I'm an android user, so new this, I missed out on fire opal as we didn't get long enough but I'm worried I will miss out on this 1 now due the above problem, the amount of bombs & dynamite I have lost due to my game shutting down is frustrating.

Only inside those 4 corners I can dig, outside corners it's not dig-able.

My problem is slightly different. I can't click where I want to in the central areas. Sometimes I have tried to click on one spot but been unable to and then when I find a bomb somewhere else and go back to my original spot I can then click on it. Help.

Mining is much more difficult on the smaller screen on my iPad. Is it possible to get an extension on the sandstone dragon mining until it's fixed in the next update?

The mining issue is from the new update. Luckily I had recently backed up my iPad in iTunes making it easier to reinstall the previous version. Honestly there should be an option in the store to rollback to the previous version until it's fixed. If anyone is wondering if you have the previous version it can be reinstalled over the update via iTunes or iFunBox.

It is very frustrating. I can not click along either side or top or bottom. Bar is only halfway empty and there are no more places to click. It is impossible to get more than one prize.

I checked FFS and can use the usual area.

Glad to see that the issue still has not been fixed, and the dragon did not get extended, so the timer runs out in less than 40 hours... Thanks for breaking it with an update and then not releasing an update to fix it before the timer ran out, TL!

Ive passed through several issues during mining. Im using the latest DS version on an Android device:

1. Mining is often laggy and at that time, I cant find out the distance to the subject (too far-near-too close).

2. I get kicked out of the game (a lot) after starting a mining session, thus losing a bomb.

3. Today, something new happened to me. After finishing a session, and going on a new one, the previous one was kept open. To be more specific, I had the holes ive made during the previous session on the current session. When I was done and wanted to repeat again, it was there again, now cumulated the holes from the 1st and 2nd try, and it was a continuous loop for at least 4 times until i was kicked out from the game (again). Anyways, a restart of the game worked it all for me. Dont know if this would happen again.

I am experiencing this as well. It is beyond frustrating being that bombs can only be attained from evolving, which is a lengthy process. Then to lose them from crashing? !?! Not cool. I have lost so many, and not only that, you lose anything you have mined and when you find 2 or 3 in one shot, yea, I get a wee mad about it. I really hope there will be something done to reimburse the lost bombs.

I've been having the same trouble as well. I think that if everyone is having the same problem with mining that everyone should be getting the dragons without having to mine or stop the mining all together till the problem is fixed. I reported it so long ago and I am getting tired of it not being fixed.
