A special habitat would have been nice. Can't complain about 5 dragons, though, and fewer decorations for which we don't have room. And I like that it's only 2 weeks. Anything longer, and too many people lose interest. I know when it's more than 2 weeks, I stop collecting once I hit all the individual prizes.

No, you don't have to buy for gold. Just start collecting boxes of chocolates from breeding and farming and tournaments. You get lots of them by farming either really often or doing the 20 hour farming. I prefer that one because I don't check the game that often to do lots of small farmings.

The answer to your questions (Natasha & bexrexbex) is that once you get 25 chocolate hearts, you unlock the first individual prize. This is always a functional decoration you place on your island, which when collected from every 4hrs yields 4 hearts (I think it's 4). If you'd rather earn 16 hearts every 4 hours you can buy the premium one from the market for gold.

Click on the world event candy box, then on the little "i" symbol, for information. All the ways to collect candy boxes are there.

You get one box per hour that the dragon takes to hatch so Air, Light & Water are the best due to their hatch times: Air 2 hours, Light 9 hours, Water 12 hours. Fire & Forest take 10 & 30 second respectfully so you'd have to buy & hatch over and over again just to get one box.

We have all the patience in the world here :) never hesitate to ask us anything! This is a really great community.

To answer your question: YES! lol - place it as soon as possible. It will give you candy boxes every 4 hours. Once the event is done, it will become just a regular decoration that you can keep to look at or store.

Why Water or Light, not Air, Fire or Forest? Do those not earn boxes?

If you know you're going to have an empty nest for a while, you can fill a nest with an egg (water=12hrs, light=9hrs). For each hour of breeding, you get 1 heart. So water and light are very good choices, earning 9-12 hearts. Fire and forest are not over an hour long so you wouldn't earn anything for hatching them.

Most of the events have offered a special habitat but not always. It really is a shame that they didn't do another Valentine habitat - I love special ones too! Maybe they'll bring back the Passion Pit. I have one and I love it. If they happen to bring back the Passion Dragon, do your best to get one. That is a really, really good fighter in battles.

One more thought Natasha_07: if you buy dragons for coins just for the candy boxes, you can sell them right off the nest and still get credit. You don't have to place them in a habitat or keep them.

During Events keep eggs on your nest/s.
Buy extra nest/s if you can.
But careful not to get stuck with eggs on your nest when your den is ready. It locks your den from getting on to the next breed.

Nope, the fountain is not part of the world event prizes. It is optional to buy since it gives 16 boxes instead of 4 that the first individual prize Cupid Statue gives out.

I think you can only store/sell decors that produce event items after the event has finished. When I tried to move my Cupid statue, I only have the option to rotate it.

My other game, Gypsy Island, is on Kindle - I've been playing that game for almost 3 years. We're never going to get the stuff that iOS & other Android users get :( We don't even get a storage tab on Kindle. We are definitely the Red Headed Step Children of Team Lava's :mad:

I hope they do that, but if they don't do it's probably because is not worthed for them, since there are mor players in IOS and Android.. I suppose.

That is a great idea. Please bring back a 4-dragon version of Romantic Rocks. 

I purchased Romantic Rocks last year (for gold I believe) but had to sell them during the Great Dragon Housing Crisis of 2014 to buy habitats that hold 4 dragons.

Community not at 50% yet(around %39) towards Lovelight dragon(need 50 million). Depending on the gaps between the next two goals and the time limit, we may only get midway between the second and last goal as a community. Also the two headed dragon is sweet but may be just out of reach if you're not spending gold.

I understand that other Android users (non-Kindle) have had to wait a long time to get certain features but the point is that they did in fact get stuff. They also get special versions of the game like holiday editions - Kindle does not. Here is a list of basic features that are not provided to the Red Headed kids:

1. Storage of any kind
2. Arctic Isle
3. Battleground/Arena
4. Gold producing Dragons
5. Additional expansion areas (far left side of island)
6. Mining
7. Dawntree (bottom left island) - what makes this worse is that we can't even use the area that holds the Dawntree so it's just a dark, unusable space.
8. Stable (for storing dragons)
9. Adventures/Quests
10. World Events

The only minimum I see in the description is for the quest (must be level 10 or higher). Battles are at level 30 - other than that I think everyone can contribute with planting food & hatching dragons!

Pern: there is a quest. Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the quest list. It's the last one (I forget the name) you can send your fire dragon out for 3 hours & get 4 boxes!

Honestly, I still can't tell. The last dragon for the japanese event was 3600, I think they raised it to 3800 for the Halloween event, but the numbers for all the currently known prizes are *lower* than for the first few for these events. Given that there aren't boxes from a special quest this time around, plus I don't think anyone has gotten any from mining to boot, it would make sense for the last prize to be somewhere around 3k. Maybe even slightly less.

Since the 4th individual prize needs 1,400 boxes, the 5th one will probably needs 2,000 boxes. In the past events, for the last 2 individual prizes, in the:

1st we needed 1,400 and 1,800 things;
2nd we needed 1,400 and 2,000 things;
3rd we needed 1,500 and 2,300 things;
4th, 5th, 6th and 7th we needed 1,700 and 2,600 things;
8th and 9th we needed 2,200 and 3,400 things.

From the 1st to the 7th event, the event had a duration of 14 days
The 8th and 9th event, the event had a duration of 21 days.

Now the 10th event, this one, Love in First Flight, has a duration of 14 days.

*I have not checked to see if Quests or Mining were available for earlier, lower-timed Events. For later events, they certainly were to get extra whatevers. The event information has not changed to reflect current abilities to collect boxes. So to recap, currently boxes can only be collected via hatching eggs, battles, and growing crops (1 box/hour of crops)

You'll make the first individual prize. Keep the farms running full time, or at least the 20 hour option. Plus try to keep an egg on your nest at all times, even if you have to buy some air or water eggs from the market. 10 more days at 60 boxes a day, gives 600 to what you already have, so you'll have well over the 800 needed for that first prize, Red Rose dragon. That was all I could do doing my first world event. And if you need a few more, you can always send your Fire dragon on the quests to get 4 more boxes per quest.

Yup, but I'm not farming as much. I just expanded the grey island 6 times in a row so I'm feeling pretty bankrupt atm with 8million coins. I usually plant 3-4 sets of Diamonddates a day so that's about 1.5 million coins! The food income is nice though! I guess the 20hr ones are better for the hearts. But my nests are always full of fails!:D Always battling and questing and whatnot. I really hope I reach the last prize, it's beautiful!! How many you got maizee?

Are you sure you don't have it ? It's on the very bottom, the last one on the list. I expected it to be by the other fire dragon quest and it's not, but I knew of it's existence too, so maybe you stopped too soon.....? And if you've looked and it's really just not there, that's something I would definately be contacting TL about asap because it's giving you an unfair disadvantage in gathering your boxes of chocolates and wouldn't have been done intentionally, so I'm sure TL would address/correct it fairly quickly (at least, I would hope they would).

Don't worry it's not your fault. TL have been clumsy with the placement of stuff this time. The Cupid statue doesn't appear in 'decorations' in the storage like they're supposed to & these special quests are usually in the 'special' section on the quest post.

TL is not being clumsy about the place of things, the only thing wrong is the quest.

The Cupid Statue is not suppose to appear in the decoration tab, because this building is not a decor. When the World Event are active, these buildings are never in the decoration tabb because they aren't a decor, they are a "active" building or a building that do something, when the World Event ends, this buildings become decor, that's when these buildings are find in the decoration tab. When you try to move this building to storage when the WE is active, you can't do that, like the breeding den, nests, evolution temple, trading portal, and so on, because they are active buildings and not decor. So, in case you and other players that don't know this, in all of the World Events, that already gave buildings that give 4 things in 4hrs are in the ALL tab, ALWAYS, only found in DECOR tab after the World Event ends.

About the special Quest for the World Event, you can find it also in the Crafting tab, this is the first time that TL didn't put the World Event quest on the Special tab.

Yes! Put that first decoration out. I missed getting my Phantom by just a bit because I didn't know better that the cauldron helped with the collection. Not enough gold to pay for the dragon then, otherwise I might just go for it. That was my very first world event after being absent from the game for tooooo long. Such beautiful dragon, and because I'm a fan of the musical too. Still longing for it....

Have you checked if you have the latest version? Try to update DS, and if that doesn't work, uninstall it and re-install it. Be sure you have your Storm8-ID and password set and save. Your progress is stored at the TeamLava-servers, so you don't have to worry about that.

This is my second world event and I'm at 1050 chocolat boxes. I don't use much gold to speed up.

The only thing that matters(outside of using gold to get eggs off of your nests when they are below the full breeding time) to maximize your box count is to visit frequently. I set mini alarms so i collect as soon as something is ready. Doesn't matter if you do 20hr crops or 5hr crops - how often you check your game does. You should be checking every hour from the arena, every three from the quest outpost, every four from the statue and every five from crops - eggs are ready when they are ready. This is my approach.

How many nests do you have? If you have two and it isn't always full, keep a water egg in there to have something to count towards your total. It's very hard to finish with one nest, if you don't have a bunch of gold to speed things along from time to time.

One more thought Natasha_07: if you buy dragons for coins just for the candy boxes, you can sell them right off the nest and still get credit. You don't have to place them in a habitat or keep them.

Seems weird then, that when I sold my magic dragon, i lost 20 boxes (just never got 'em). Was a bit of a bummer because I needed them for the first dragon prize. I dont sell anymore, just in case, lol.. Im an android user btw.

I don't think it's bad to have diamonds on the nests. Those are a bunch of boxes each that you can count on. If you had regular dragons on the nests, you'd have to worry about getting them off/putting more on, so in some ways diamonds are more efficient, time-wise, for these events.

Fantastic! I saw you worrying about it a few posts back. It can be tough to figure out how to balance schedules with what the game demands.

Definitely quest as often as possible for boxes, gather from the statue, and do extra battles. 20 hour crops can help a ton (i usually space them out with 5 or 8 hour ones if I need to "reset" so they're harvested during the day). And yes, having eggs on nests at all times and not letting unhatched ones sit. The egg one tends to get people, since it's easy to not realize/forget. Technically you don't have to put the new dragon on a habitat, but sometimes the game will glitch and not give boxes if they were sold off the nest, so having a spare space to put it never hurt anybody. You can always sell it right off the habitat after.

Either TL was hacked or the box numbers were severely under counted. I'm guessing the first is a stronger possibility as the true love tree has a quantity of 1 and isn't in my featured market.

Horray! Congratulations to everyone!

Seems like another glitch. Something same same but different happened with the Olympus dragons. Some people got double of all the prizes that had already been obtained. Here it looks like the inverse has happened. The last time it also only affected the people who were actively playing when the glitch happened.

If TL forgot to add the Android users amount for this event and they only did this now, this only means one thing, in the next world event, don't be surprised if the community rewards cost the double, instead of, for example, 250,000,000 for the last community prize, probably 500,000,000 or even more.

/who knows/ about what the deal was for the community prizes. I am betting on Android users being added as well. I don't mind terribly. There js something nice about being ahead of the game, so to speak.

The final prize is confirmed at 2200boxes.

That means collecting 158 boxes/day.

Today, eight days in, you need 1264 boxes. Yes, this is a jump from yesterday's halfway point, but I had a minor miscalculation with my halfway numbers. If you're collecting a steady number of boxes a day, then this number is what your target should be.

If you started yesterday with a solid 1100 boxes, then you need to collect at a rate of 184 boxes/day to reach fhe final prize. That is 28 boxes more than before.

Hey what happened to the community part, when I check this morning we got the tree and last dragon and yesterday was barely 35% at the tree must be a glitch yesterday which got fixed today.

I'm on my last dragon after the swan, need 600 more. Hope to make it in time!

I'm 200 away from my final dragon. No clue how we got those community prizes especially the dragon. I'm usually done with my prizes with a few days to spare and we typically get our final community prize with hours to go. I don't get it but I'm glad to have the dragon ;)

I was visiting my neighbors a little while ago and I kept seeing this egg that I'd never seen before. Then I noticed the True Love Tree on somebody's island and was a little surprised since we weren't even close to getting it yesterday. I went back to my island to check the event and saw that we already had the last community dragon (hence the unfamiliar eggs). I was thinking, "How did this happen?!" (I must've clicked right through both of the pop-up windows). What a pleasent surprise that was! :)

Since the past World Events had almost the same amount has this one, it's kinda of weird the amounts are the same and the collecting of the boxes being the same has the past events, since now 2 different devices are playing on the same feature, Android and IOS users.

I have hatched and now envoling the lovebird on my second account. I had fire and magic breeding I put the egg on the nest and got another lovebird at 16hr when the lovebird is 20hr and supposed unbreedable.
