Mailbox and lost gems

I finally saved up gems after the Christmas event. I Bought a mailbox and it took them all away! Is there a way to get them back? I know it was only like 67...but it took forever to build up that many! I was trying to save for a truffle hog!

Mailbox only costs like 5 gems. How did you spend 67 gems on that? I know it requires an envelope to use which you can find by making items in the bakery. Did you somehow spend gems on an envelope or something? I have had zero success with getting TL to refund lost gems in the past. They said I spent them to speed up my ash trees growing when I have no need to since there's like 50 of them on my farm. I'd still try emailing the support team and ask.
