Thanks Pepper for putting all the stuff together! I was just headed to see what contents were in the Love Box. I don't remmeber that being here yesterday because I was debating opening the box with the Heart Fireplace. Then I thought, maybe they will have a sale tomorrow! And sure enough they did! I just spent over 2 million getting at least 2 of everything for coins I didn't have!

The Valentinea box can either be from 2011 or 2012. I guess I can take one for the team and open it. The one from 2011 has the heart shaped table as a 3rd place. If I get that for a prize at 20 gems instead of 3 from just buying it I will flip.. Lol

I just checked the mastery box thread and only one Valentines box is pictures. The Love Basket. The other two aren't on there unless the Love Box is from 2011 or 2012. Anybody else feel like opening boxes with me so we can figure this out?

It's a trade secret haha! Before taking a screenshot, I either place the items I have out on the floor or if I have no room or there are too many like for wallpapers/floor tiles, I take the screenshot from my extra account which has nothing lol

Aren't these the boxes from the master list? The ones that say "removed?" I know there are two with the same name, but there are three boxes listed that have pictures of some of the items already.

There are two old V day boxes in the master box thread. My guess is that those are the two boxes, except both are called box but the actual name is 'chest' in the game.

I'm a happy girl!!! I don't know if it's luck lately but I managed to get the 1st place prizes from both the Valentine's Chest and Valentine's box, and also 1 out of the 2 2nd place prizes from both boxes! I did already have the Valentine Display and Love Game (3rd place) from when TL released these out of the box a few years back but now I have several duplicates and I think I can make it work for what I'm planning for my Valentine layout.

Woohoo! Congrats. I've a neighbor who had four of those wedding displays from the old Valentine box and Id forever admire it. I opened last years box not knowing which was which and got the fireplace. I also opened another and got the wall candle holder thingy. I think I'll get some gems and give them a go again. I really want that cupcake display.

I think the Valentine Chest has better items, but I'm also happy with the Valentine's box. A bit disappointed the 1st place wedding cake is only a 2x2 though it did seem to be common for a 2x2 to be 1st place in older boxes. There only seems to be 3 x 4th place prizes from the Valentine's box though. These are actually the few boxes I'm happy to get duplicates of.

I just noticed that at least some, if not all, of the coin-priced Valetine's Sale items that were first available in 2012 cost about 60% more than their original 2012 prices. Are these items also supposed to be part of the 20% off sale? The gem-priced items do indeed seem to be 20% off.

Thank you PepperWoo for posting this so nicely for us. I really appreciate the new sale strategies from TL. I have a feeling they hired someone new, especially since the popup design for the boxes is so different, lol. I've never seen it before anyway.

I spent so much money! Lol but it was worth it. I may never be able to expand again but oh well. I got my Love Fireplace I wanted too so that was nice. It's the first time I only had to open a box once because I got what I wanted first try. Now hopefully I get a nice 30% off gem sale within the next couple of days so I can open the older Valentines boxes a few times. It's the only time I've seen a box with wall decorations as a prize and I really want some of them.

Thanks. I feel like I thought it was about time I had SOME luck with the boxes! I've received 1st place prizes a total of 4 times now. 3 in Bakery Story, and 1 in Fashion Story. 3 out of the 4 1st place prizes were today and yesterday. I usually have better luck with 2nd place items. I bought the Date Night (1st place in the Love Box) display during the Christmas Sale last December so now I feel like my collection is "complete" from all the current Valentine boxes. The only thing I really want from the Love Box that I don't already have is the Heart Cake but I can live without it. I already have the Rose Cupcakes from my first 1st try so haven't bothered with the Love Box since.

I got the 2nd place item after my 4th try from the Valentine's chest box. I was aiming for the the first place ofcourse but the fountain of love is cutee :D

OMG!!!! I was feeling lucky just then and had another go at the Valentine's Chest. After getting a few more duplicates, I got ANOTHER 1st place Wedding Ceremony AND finally got the Love Fountain on my last go!!!!! I have everything in that box now. Soo happy right now!!!!!

How are you using the hearts jar? I like the idea but it seems small and easy to miss what it is - I wish we could place items like this onto something such as a counter or table :( Also each time I try out the balloons they just seem to get washed out not sure I want to spend almost $100,000 on them - can anyone convince me otherwise???

Honestly I haven't thought about how I'm going to lay everything out. I kinda just place items as I go along. I would probably just place the jar next to some counters or food display like the Rose Cupcakes or the Valentine Display if you have those items. With the balloon I was hoping to place them randomly everywhere. Not sure yet! I'm not low on coins so kinda bought all the coins items without really thinking too much about the price. I would suggest you place them against a wall with a dark colour wallpaper for the contrast so they stand out.

The Smitten Kittens are indeed very cute and I hate cats, so that's saying something!

I was able to use all my duplicates from the boxes except for the Love Game but I'm satisfied with my Valentine bakery as it is now. The Valentine's Chest has the prettiest items so I didn't mind the duplicates as much as I normally would. If anyone is interested in seeing the items in situ, feel free to check out my bakery in the Show Off Your Bakery thread.

Now i just wonder what and (especially) WHEN we'll have the Valentine Goal. Last year goal was Paris theme and it didn't feel very... Valentine-y

Most of the sale item are not really get to me, although some are nice indeed. Buying boxes is out-of-the-question for me with my worst of luck, plus the contained decos seem a bit old (and i still don't know all of those boxes prices anyway, only 2 out of 3). So, i'm kinda lacking stuffs for my bakery this valentine... and the sale ends with all the decos in about 2 weeks :(

I was able to get everything out of the Valentine's Chest except the fountain. The Heart Topiary is beautiful and I now have 4 of them, they go with everything. The Wedding is a big piece and can stay out year-round.

As you acquire more decorations, I think it's good to have smaller items to fill in the gaps and give your bakery more depth. Huge prizes take up a lot of space very quickly. I love them, but I appreciate the smaller designs, too.

You just keep opening the box. The chance of getting a 4th place prize is 54% or something like that. You can open them as many times as you like. I got duplicates of a bunch if things from boxes.

I also have more things than I can put in my bakery, so I passed up on some things. Even though many items I've wanted for so very long.

I did get gems on RS and bought some items, because I have less main show pieces there than on here. Lately fashion has been getting most of my money and Im ok with that.

That's why I'm glad I only play two games! I'd be broke if I played anymore. I haven't bought a 580 gem package for at least a month now on BS and even longer on FS. I only bought a small one enough to get the Urban bundle and a small one in FS for the V Day stuff I wanted. Trying to restrain myself after the huge spurges of late!

I also have more things than I can put in my bakery, so I passed up on some things. Even though many items I've wanted for so very long.
