Gem sale?

Why is there never a gem sale on iPad app for this game? My Note3 version has a sale almost every other day. I ended up with 2 accounts because I couldnt figure out how to get my iPad village on my phone smh.:confused:

I get gem sales all the time & I'm on iPad Air 2. Just don't have one at the present.
TL has stated in the past that gem sales are random.
