Level 30 is the minimum level for the Battle Arena

Me neither. I randomly picked Diamond to battle and was a one hit KO. It closed pretty fast but could've sworn I saw a small dragon in the center lol.

Hoping this will go just as smoothly, as I want the dragon but am not going to buy any rounds...

Also need to manage my time better so I don't end up playing over half the rounds in one day...

I guess the main reason not many players are using Gold types dragons is because they dont have one...like me. If they win your battles, why not!! Would be another option to fall back on if all others fail!

My strategy is to use basic single elements in earlier rounds until an opponent blocks my progress. Then the diamonds/champs comes in. But if I am too lazy I'll just breeze through with Diamonds/Champs throughout the tournament.

Diamonds/Champs are your best bet but if you dont have them then your basic single elements are your next best bet in the earlier rounds. Good luck in your first tourney and hope to see you bring this Champ home. It'll definitely helps a lot in future tournaments. Gd luck...

I do feel the Gold (treasure type) dragons do good, but I normally do not use them, because if you lose, while they are healing, you are not earning you gold bars.

Really? That's interesting. Regular dragons keep earning coins, so gold dragons should keep doing their thing as well! ;)

Hmmm.... I always avoided colors the guidelines say to--even if the other color says to use it. For example, this pink & blue dragon: you should use purple for blue dragons, but avoid it for pink ones. I've been avoiding colors in this situation, but it looks like they're actually neutral. (Like math: +1 & -1= 0, lol!)
So I used purple, & it worked out--yay!

Im getting so sick of my champion lvl 10 dragons losing to level 1 and 2 dragons. 90% chance and it feels more like 60-70% to me....yet when I hit the tough tourney dragons where I have a 10% chance to win, I battle 25 times with no luck and it usually flames out my tourney.

Anyone else feel this pain?

I'm android player. I just can battle this tournament. And I find a way to have a chance to win each round just on the first try.

For choose a dragon to battle with each round. Just go to this site...

They have a statistic for each dragon. You just choose what a dragon (name of dragon on tournament each round)
and look what that dragon lose (their opponents). So choose that one. I'm choose number high of lose.

Well I didn't keep track of which ones I used but I have been at level 15 since noon, diamond lost 2 times, pyramid 2 times and passion just lost his 2nd attempt with a 45% chance the odds are I would have beaten the ninja by now 6x3 is 18 attempts, at 45% you would think I woild have gotten lucky once

The Warrior queen is a champ so basically to have the best chance against a champ you could use diamond, infinity, soccer, pyramid or passion. It has no diamonds or anything fancy, except a couple of Champions luckily.

Guess Warrior Queen is a Champion Breed.
It is pure luck, but yes Diamond has a chance just like some of the new dragons. I always try Metal, Magic, Firestorm, Passion, Cornucopia, Poseidon, Champion,etc. If all do not work, I restart my phone/game and hope odds change to my favour.

Don't know what you have tried already. But you can try Lacewing, Marshmallow, Pink Lotus, Divine, Lunar Rainbow, Pride or others with similar type color combo and rarity. Good luck!

I feel they've tried to make this more difficult since android can play now. NO way a level 3 dragon (round 3) should be able to defeat an Amazon, Black Knight, Dark Angel, Emerald Isle or whatever it's called and an Infinity. Finally won with Valkryie. It's irritating and makes no not want to continue. I'm on round 7 finally and hope the battles don't reset like it's done during the last three we've had.

I missed the flash tourney because I was sick the day it started and didn't have enough time to win all 12 battles the 2nd day. I started this one and just haven't had time to come on and chat with everyone. I should have a little more time as the tourney progresses.

Lol. I decided to avoid all the frustration and used ultimate on first attempt. Never ever done this before but has certainly given me a great sense of calmness. Good luck with Black Diamond. I used quetzal.

(didn't work for me, although it was real close) I'm currently stuck at rd. 20 and my poor kiddos are both still on Ninja. I'm getting mad for them. This is my daughter's first tourney, as we just figured out we could switch accounts on the IPad and she's been playing Kindle all along. She desperately wants her first champ, and loves this particular girl-y one! We've tried everything: Diamond, metal, forest, fire, air, son has tried champs. Nothing is phasing this Ninja for them. :(
