Sorry if this has been discussed but I have only just noticed that the cost of gems has gone up!!! It now costs ?3.99 for 24 gems. This is a lot of money considering I could open a box and get the dreaded 4th prize and pay nearly ?4 for the pleasure! Not happy! 😁😁😁

Wait a minute those prices aren't in dollars. I believe those prices R in pounds. Look at the symbol in front of the price. That's not a $ that's a pound sign.

Will a Moderator or Community Mgr clarify this for us plz.

I am in Australia but even with conversion we still pay a significant amount more. I've always thought it was unfair.

Us Australians pay more for everything. It sucks. Be thankful your gems aren't as expensive as ours.

Ahhhhh.. Australian Dollar - that makes more sense. When doing the currency conversion, it does come closer to what we pay in the US.

Only now because the Australian $ has depreciated against the U.S. but when our dollar was $1.10USD, we still paid these rip off prices. The value of the currency is never taken into consideration, nor is the price ever changed to reflect it.

This is what we pay in euros now. Quite sneaky and unnecessary it's not as if gems were cheap before the price increase!

If I do a currency conversion back to $AUD, that's even more expensive than what we pay! Here I was thinking that Australians get ripped off the most but I think the Euro price is the worst.

Yes that is higher than what we pay, when you calculate the conversion!

Same here! I went to purchase them with my bank card and it went up 3.99 so I'm now trying to get gems by mastering the recipes

This is ridiculous! Gems were expensive before, but now they're even trying to fool us with wrong prices? I'm so mad right now!

I've just noticed this as well. I play another game and there prices have gone up as well. They said it was something to do with VAT going up so they had to adjust those prices accordingly. Maybe it's something similar here, but it is ridiculous.

Will you guys still buy gems for the new prices? I won't. I just bought gems for the first time a few weeks before and only when they were on sale. With these prices? No chance! I'd rather spend my money on really important things.

A warning would have been nice!!!
Without us people your company would not even exist.
And this is how you treat us.
Very upset about this.
Another punch in the face.

Word! They are so greedy! When you increase the prices you should make the right price tags. Some maybe don't look twice and think they're buying gems for the old prices. What a nice company TL is....

I don't think I will be buying gems at all anymore unless they put the prices down. It's so ridiculous

I never buy gems at full price anyway, only minimum 30% off.

Even the sale now is ridiculous expensive! Wrong proce tags inclusive,of course! Wish they would say something about that.

Yeah because the sale prices are now similar to what the full prices used to be.

Nah I wouldn't buy gems unless I really needed them. I'm not paying 3.99 for 24 gems

Nor me, think I'd only consider it if there was a sale like the christmas one. I'd rather earn my gems from mastering recipes.

24 gems without a sale was always 4.99 in America. With a sale it's $3.99. I have bought those when in a pinch. I usually get the $6.99, $13.99 and $34.99 gem packages. On dragon I've gotten the $49.99 package a few times. And a couple occasions I got the $69.99 package on bakery and fashion.

Overall the prices are the same on android. If you have it or access to a phone, switch over and use it. Almost all TL games are on android now. I have both devices and rsrely buy gems on my iPad. I do it on my phone to avoid ios taxes.

These prices are so much better than Australian prices :(

I never really buy the small gem packages because I think of the unit cost of the gems instead of the gem package price, the 580 gem package gives the most value for money and sadly, even at 30% off, it's still $74.99AUD ($61.70USD) on Android and $90AUD ($74USD) on iOS. Why is there such a price difference between platforms? Thanks goodness for my husband's Galaxy tablet. I always buy my gems from Android.

Know what? A 580 gem package here in europe costs approx. 100 USD !! That is beyond expensive!!

Is that the normal price or at 30% off? The prices I quoted for Australia were 30% off the normal price.
