Stuck at level 11

I seem to be stuck at level 11. Every time I play another stage and gain experience, it tells me I have leveled up, but when I play again it goes back to level 11. My husband seems to have reached level 12 without problem. Please fix this for me so I can continue enjoying the game. Thanks!
