It's definitely cuter than what we're getting in Bakery Story! I love to go ice skating, so I can't wait to see what that decor goes for! I like the wallpaper, too!

the tables seem very plain to me, and i wouldn't want to repeat that chair all over--it looks like every customer came in wearing the same coat! the skaters, both rink & individual, are cute though.

Quite nice overall, though the ice skating item seems a bit small. Seriously, how would those poor kids actually skate on that? Two "steps" in either direction? :D

Also, I really wish they would just disclose goal updates somehow, if they insist on not putting the appliances in the picture. Only a day away, but I would like to know ahead of time if I should be annoyed by an early gift tomorrow or not lol.

Idk why I feel like this should have been a December update... Maybe the ice stalking rink with the trees and the recycled BS items. :p Overall, it's nice to continue winter themes during winter. Lol I rather keep the freezing cold outside and the cozy warm inside.

I'm over winter. I've already decorated for February. But if these items are for coins I'll store them for later. Not many great winter items in RS. Bakery has been winning the display battle there. The wallpaper and floor isn't bad either. Been wanting blue tiles for coins. I hope they are.

I so agree! I quit playing RS and BS for awhile, because they are so boring! If we don't get new goals today, I'll close my shops.

I'm not sure about anyone, but it does feel like a goal updates to me. Maybe they're too busy and the new appliances is not ready for the teaser. The ice skating display sure looks like a final goal prize to me.

Let see what we get hours later. Though I'm more concern about the pricing. Will it be sky rocket again? XD

So glad I was paranoid enough to ask neighbors to not gift me today! Should have known they would toss new parts at us again. I don't see anything in BS yet. But hopefully this means we don't have same week goals again! :)

I stick to the old custom of all Christmas decorations away by 6th January, so I hope the trees are not part of the deal, otherwise it will be 10 or 11 months before I use the prize.

Ugh. I had been accepting gifts all day. Was returning a gift when the two new parts popped up. Thinking about getting the steampunk car on one account. It fits the color scheme there. I'm broke on main account. The goal prices look so cute. Even the couple dining. Just may have to make it work in my all Valentine decor. I'll go ahead and buy some appliances. Just realized I can at least ask for my 20 to get started. Cut my list down too so I hope I deleted wisely and the folks I have answer my requests. RS has the laziest neighbors.

Just noticed a bunch of old fall items are LTO. Does this mean they will be removed after this time? Already own most of it, but they even have the recent fall update stuff there, so seems weird to remove it so fast, if that's the case.

They're ****ing me with the low yield. I need sustainable food. I've been cooking nonstop to keep food on my counters. Now I'll have at least 8 out of commission for little to no payoff.

Guys, they released the Time Machine(steampunk chest) out of box for 30 gems! I couldn't believed it first prize item for that price! Heck, I bought it straightaway! :p

Futuristic box is going for 18 gems and autumn gift box for 20 gems. 6 days timer.

This really bugs me too. I know I will cook for the first gem and goals and then go back to high yield food until next time. 😞

But since these machines have gotten expensive, I'm now just building no more than 4 of each and making high yielding food on my other slots. It will take longer to finish goals, but the money savings can go towards more items, and I can still finish with plenty of time to spare.

Has someone made an inventory list of high yield foods? I know that in the BS forum some awesome folks put together a spreadsheet listing all recipes and their corresponding coin yields.

I started doing this too - once I realised what was happening. My eyes boggle at places with a whole row of goal appliances! ☺ Now I decide if I actually want what's on offer. Tonight watching TV I cooked about 40k portions of fish and chips to eke out the other dishes. Profit isn't as important now as my time.

If I don't receive parts from them for awhile, I know they're inactive or just don't care to gift. I take note of who sends gifts daily and who responds to requests, so I know which neighbors to keep, you can only get so many gifts a day, but the ones I at least recognize as tipping, gifting or responding to requests frequently are always the ones who I keep.

For any neighbors that you suspect may be inactive, just leave a message on their wall asking if they are still playing, assuming that they have spoiled food or empty appliances. If they don't respond in a few days and you don't see a message on their wall warning neighbors of their absence, then it's probably safe to just delete then. If you want, you can always leave a message on their wall asking them to respond back to you for another add if they ever start playing again...if you feel like giving them that option.

Yes. We won't c the items again after the 6 days R up. If u remember last yr they "took or removed" everything at 1 time. Well this yr they seem to b removing items a few at a time, I also remember last yr it did seem funny for them to b removing recently released items so quickly but they did, so they seem to b following the same pattern this yr. The items uve already purchased will still remain in ur inventory but after the LTO period ull not b able to purchase anymore.

This is why I visited every single neighbor over the holidays to see who had current items in their shop, was cooking or had clear tables. To be sure they didn't just had spoiled food due to being busy, I checked every day for a week. I deleted over 30 people. I was to go through the list again but I'm lazy. My bakery neighbors are more reliable. I suggest you think like you're tipping, go visit, if you see no current goal items or food, Decor or activity, then delete.

At this point I don't really need a bunch of neighbors because the tips wont make or break my shop. Most of them don't tip, which is fine with me. I just want parts. And I couldn't be bother anymore going through a list of over 200 people to remember who is active or not.

Wow I spent an hour going through my list and I was shocked by how many people are inactive. They are mostly lower levels though.

definitely excited to have new goals AT ALL - the wait was brutal. also i like the look of the tables - not so much the chairs. I too was about to completely re-decorate everything for feb and valentines etc with lots of red. glad i postponed that
