I think I'm going to give up. 2 days stuck on a dragon is just ridiculous. I have been on immortal and the dragons come close but never enough to defeat it. It's annoying using the same dragon over and over and over again.

I agree. I'll use ultimate on the Champs but I should be able to beat a Mercury when I have so many diamonds. It took 10 rounds just to take down Spellthorn and that should have been relatively easy.


Time is running out here, I only have about 10 more hours to battle until bedtime and still have to beat this Mercury, then Unicorn and then the last round.


I've been battling every hour for this tournament and I am getting bored with it. :(

I don't see me finishing this tournament. Spent all day yesterday trying to beat Immortal and finally Christmas Tree 4 took him out. Then Anubis fell on my first try. Still that leaves 9 opponents to beat in 17 hours and 3 of the next 4 are effectively 10% with any dragon I have. Getting Lightning up to Epic for this tournament helped.

Whew! Done on both accounts! Thank goodness Unicorn and Inquisitor didn't put up a fight for me after the 24 hour Mercury fiasco. Didn't use any ultimates, but sped things up here and there with all the losses. This was sort of brutal. I so envy to folks who go on through with only one or two losses here and there. Hi Tuffy! I was stuck on him forever. Three kings worked for a few. I think the only reason my Black Swan won was my arena was acting weird. Purples seemed to be strong for some. How is your hubby doing?

I agree. I'll use ultimate on the Champs but I should be able to beat a Mercury when I have so many diamonds. It took 10 rounds just to take down Spellthorn and that should have been relatively easy.


Time is running out here, I only have about 10 more hours to battle until bedtime and still have to beat this Mercury, then Unicorn and then the last round.


I've been battling every hour for this tournament and I am getting bored with it. :(

That's four straight this morning as Aether 7 took out Ethereal on my first try. I don't see getting past Diamond Prism and then Warden any time soon. I'll keep trying, but I think I've effectively hit the end. At least one nest is free again so I can recruit some Fire 1 to help.

Well, Ethereal took out all my champs twice over (that is a count of eight) plus trick or treat and mummy before finally being felled by Godmother 3. Level 20 Champs are really hard - literally anything you throw at it has the same chance of defeating it, from an Epic Diamond to a level 1 fire. Since it really, honestly doesn't matter what you use, just keep buying baby fire dragons and selling them after they've been defeated - it's cheaper than using your high level dragons and healing them afterward.

If I didn't know any better, I would think the tournament is toying with me. Infinity went down on my first try with my newly hatched Fire Opal 1. That's three straight wins this morning. On to Ethereal. At least I have half a dozen with a 45% chance to win.

Most non-diamonds are going to be a 25% chance. Try your champs, or a level 9/10 super rare like Lightning, Mad Scientist, Franken... Steelflare did it for me.

Luckily we have tons of champion breeds and we wont miss any dragon. (in fact running out of habitats, since space takes time)

Never got past Warden. C'est la vie. I should have Battlecaster fed to an Epic state for the next tournament. And one can always dream that they will breed a Diamond between now and then.

When I wanted to level up some dragons quickly, I spent a couple of hours a few times whilst watching TV in the evening doing the 10 min crops as this builds up your apples the fastest.

I had an odd experience. The entire tounament was a breeze except for the Dream Dragon which ate 6 of my Champions; The Mercury which took me nearly two days, and the Unicorn which took about 6 champions too!!

The funny thing is, I totally forgot I was on round 30, and with 30 minutes to go in the tournament and 0 gold to spend, I threw out my Valentine and ya know what happened? I lost. But then I collected from my gold dragons and bought another round with my last 4 gold in the world, and boom! Beat it in two hits with my only epic Battlecastor. I found Mercury to be the toughest one this time around on both accts and more then 10 battles and I had the dragons with 35 and 25 % chance but they were no match. I did finally get the prize on both accts but with less than 3 hours to go in tourney.

Immortal was definitely the hardest opponent for me. I was stuck on the beast for 2 days, and before I got to him I was on track at a nice steady pace. If I find him in the tourney line up some other time, I'm just gonna sit back and relax!

I had an odd experience. The entire tounament was a breeze except for the Dream Dragon which ate 6 of my Champions; The Mercury which took me nearly two days, and the Unicorn which took about 6 champions too!!

The funny thing is, I totally forgot I was on round 30, and with 30 minutes to go in the tournament and 0 gold to spend, I threw out my Valentine and ya know what happened? I lost. But then I collected from my gold dragons and bought another round with my last 4 gold in the world, and boom! Beat it in two hits with my only epic Battlecastor. An interesting tournament indeed. :3 Truth be told I wasn't all that concerned about winning this guy. Go figures I would anyways Huh? Lol

few times ive had no joy like that payed the gold to rush the Arena then BANG!! job done took out the dragon that was annoying me :)

Hardest for me were Warden and Immortal. One account also got stuck on Prism and Infinity. I only got the prize on two accounts using one and two ultimates. Saved my gold on the other accounts. Yeah, one of the hardest tournies so far, not really fun.

I never got past Warden after 20+ tries. Everything was relatively easy until then, only 3 losses and none on gold rounds. Oh well. Congrats to those who won and better luck next time to everyone who struggled.
