In game downloads, help!

hi! I'm relatively new to all this and I was wondering:
If I download a game suggested by the baron, do I get any rewards in castle story? Or is it just advertising?

You get no reward directly, once you download the game a follow up quest appears. This one has a reward.

Please note that IOS players do not get gems/gold for downloading or playing other games. These goals give 0 rewards.
Goals that do award gems are unrelated to the Goals you mentioned.
