The rule of thumb is u have at least the same length of time b4 spoilage as it took to cook the item. Any further time beyond that u never know.
For example Say u brew 1 cup of coffee which takes 5 minutes
U then have at least 5 minutes b4 u need to worry about the coffee spoiling.
The same would go for the longer cooking items.
For example U know ur gonna need to b gone from away from the game for around 4 days,
Well then u could bake pumpkin pie and b safe for 4 days since pumpkin pie cooks for 2 days.
How mush time u have after the safe time I don't know. I always try to b safe.

I've noticed you have about 90 minutes to serve dishes with a cook time of less than an hour. (Got bored one night and timed it! Lol)
