The newsfeed displays the 10 most recent visitors.
Initially this was fine.
Now that we can have up to 50 habitats, we can receive up to 17 visitors (playing 3 habitats each) before our habitats are full/sparkly. That means we can reasonably be missing 7 visitors, or almost half each time our park gets all sparkly, because they will be pushed off the bottom of the newsfeed by more recent visitors.
I think it's time for a 20 person newsfeed (or at least 15!)
