I'm unable to see or use the new goal ovens
Also can not see new wallpaper or flooring
Do not have the new gift to send and I can not receive one

Can you try deleting and reinstalling the game? Be sure to leave the game open for a few minutes the first time you open it. Don't worry, your account is saved on our servers and will still be there when you reinstall the game. :)

Also, in this one you mention it's the new items. Some of these items might actually be locked by goal. You will need to complete the currently available goals to access these. The Holly Screwdriver and Snowflake should already be accessible in the gifting menu under the social tab.
