Won't Plant Covered Plot

I'm surprised no one has mentioned this bug until now. It's been happening for the last few releases. If a plot of dirt is partially off-screen or partially obscured by the circles that contain the harvesting tools, the planting won't jump to that plot. I use the plant in lines option on an iphone, and this used to work. No matter if a plot was on screen or not, plant in line would fill all the available plots if I just held down the veggie I wanted to plant.
