I wasn't able to download it yesterday either, but today was successful. I wanted the gems because of next week, I'm glad I was able to download it but a tiny bit sad that my gem rewards were less.

I didn't get download cupcake story goal. Maybe now TL will send download goals for android to random players like on ios. But I still hope it isn't so.

TL sends out random invites, so just bcuz 1 person gets an invite doesn't mean everyone will receive it. I play on iOS and I didn't receive it either.

On android all players, not random, receive the same goal to download game. I'm sure, cause i have two android accounts and my sister has one ios and one android account. All our android accounts received download Bakery story Thanksgiving goal last week simultaneously. Now I wait for cupcake story and pet shop story download goals.
