IOS christmas update

Hi did anyone download the new update? It says there are new holiday recipes and Christmas decorations but I don't see any changes after the update. Also it says we can earn rewards and recipes, how exactly does it work?

I'm on iOS and downloaded the new version but I have no new decorations, recipes or ovens.

I'm on IOS and nothing new here either. I've restarted twice hoping they'd be there but still nothing. It looks a bit too pricey for me anyway. Plus there's nothing new there.

I've gotten the Christmas update but did not see new decorations or recipes. the appliances I already have so they've been there for me. maybe it's just a little delayed

Yes, I got this version and the above mentioned appliances.
Got it from 1 mobile market, several older versions found there.
Yes I done the same ! It's pricey items and only have 29 gems :( might master the autumn dishes

Same here. Nothing special. Didn't they used to have the "outside" scenery match the version. ( halloween it was "spooky" and christmas there was snow? ) I thought it was like 3 years ago.

I don't have any Christmas items in the new version either (ios). There are some cute new fall items though.

Yeah I'm really disappointed. That is how it was, the backround was themed as well as the colors when you open menus etc. Even our customers were in cute costumes for Halloween and winter wear for Christmas!!! I got excited when I saw the update then totally deflated after. Nothing new in site except the icon and load screen. : (

And I got more excited when I saw the icon and loading screen they used was the 2012 Christmas edition ones. I though I'll be able to see the old 2012 Christmas items and especially the Reindeer Penguin which I wanted badly. Sadly, there's nothing in this new updates. No Christmas music, no Christmas buildings outside the border. Just nothing! :(:(:( I missed the Christmas music and the bots dressed in elves! *sigh* Oh, I just realised they fixed the level 555 glitch.

The level 555 glitch which some players reported. I'm one of them with the funny glitch. :D But they fixed it with this new updates. Back to level 99 again.

The only thing different is the splash screen when loading. No outdoor decor or winter scene. The customers aren't even in seasonal/holiday clothing. So whats the point?

I'd love it if I did but nothing new. Just FYI I've seen comments here before to scrub out your $ and gem info in your posted pic as somehow there is a way to use your info to hi-jack and get your gems/$ I don't know how but that's what I've seen discussed here and I wouldn't want that to happen to you!

Those items are from 2 years ago and so is that version of bakery story.

Anyone who is on an Android or Amazon device has access to it by downloading it from the Amazon app store or any other mobile apk market.

Just FYI I've seen comments here before to scrub out your $ and gem info in your posted pic as somehow there is a way to use your info to hi-jack and get your gems/$ I don't know how but that's what I've seen discussed here and I wouldn't want that to happen to you!

Oh can it be true? are they really giving us back our beautiful outside Christmas scenery? I sure hope so!! That splash screen is from a couple of years ago....and that outside scenery too....I am also on IOS and do not have any of the Christmas items, or the outside scenery. I sure hope they are working on it!!

Guys go report this in the Bugs Forum. This is a major bug and the mods will definitely see it there, but not sure if they keep up with this issue here.

I'm actually just happy for a Christmas theme icon and loading screen, I've never had this option before. I really hope we get some Christmas updates soon and the inside of the game changes to the snowy theme like others have mentioned. Still can't wait for those sales next week!

Waaaaaah!! over the next few weeks? next monday is December 1st! half the continent is blanked is thick snow....we need snow falling outside our bakeries!! lol..... good to know there are new things coming. Lets just hope it is the snow falling and bots dressed in winter clothes! :)

Ios is ios, not window platform. To be more exact, ios mean Apple devices. :)

Don't worry, you won't lose your games. All the games data are stored in TL's server. I know there's a easy login feature available on ios and android. But I'm not sure if this feature is available on window platform or not. Maybe a staff/mod can help you out on that. :)

Just to avoid confusion, I wanted to clarify that the updates that would be coming are only content updates. Unfortunately, there won't be any scenery changes in-game. Sorry if I got your hopes up!

Currently the games do not work on Window devices. I think I saw a post that they might in the future.

If you can try to keep your old phone. I know on iphones even thought they are not activated to use as a phone, you can still play the games on wifi.

thanks kooky, the problem is that if we change them, my old phone would be gifted. :( I'll try to buy an Android if possible. His phone doesn't work any more and he wants to change both in a sale offer. :o

Aw I just found the new update. How cute! Love the gingerbread guy on the icon! And the loading screen is so cute too! I can't wait for Christmas update! We need more Christmas trees! The pink and blue ones from RS would be fab in my bakery.
