Polaris Planks and Logs for Christmas theme this year?

Will we have the opportunity to obtain Polaris planks and logs this year so that we can complete last year's limited building upgrades? I would like to know so that I would not have to waste money with buying the fully updated Kingdom Inn and Reindeer stable.

My other question is that if I do buy the Kingdom Inn at level 5, would I still be able to collect planks and logs in order to complete my reindeer?

For your first question, I really doubt it. Now it is not 10% ruled out as they used 2 years in a row the chocolate cups for the XMas event.

As for Q2, no.The Inn drops earth wisps.
