How do you get bass? I never get any and have to buy them. Thanks!

It is possible to catch bass with the dough fish bait as well as the anchovy bait, but your best chance is with the third bait, the one that requires wheat, anchovies, and peppers. It just takes patience and a little luck.

I have noticed, however odd it may seem, that when I actually need anchovies to make pizzas or finish orders, I end up getting a lot of catfish or bass, even with the dough bait, regardless of whether I fish in the hot spots or not. Similarly, when I want catfish, I end up with lots of anchovies or bass, and when I want bass, I end up with lots of anchovies and catfish.

Maybe it's just my game, but if you fish when you don't really need anything, your chances of catching what you don't need but may need later might be a lot better.

You might get better luck with the Spicy Bait as PookieBear50 suggested. You will need to reach level 25 to unlock that. Good luck!
