Actually, there isn't a limit to the number you can buy, just a limit to the number you can put out on your floor, which is 11 (eleven).

If you're seeing the message "You already have the maximum number of appliances. The next appliance unlocks at level XX" or "There are no more appliance slots to unlock" and you wish to buy more, then put a few of the appliances from your floor into the store and you'll be able to make your purchase; be sure to first serve whatever is on that appliance before putting it in store or you will lose the food item.

it would be nice iff we also can make ice creams, (banaboat, peche melba and so on) but then we need icemachines
