No water for rice?

I have built my farm so that I have water features using the rice crop. I even bought a duck with gems for this feature and now it is gone! When returning to original farm story the yellow roses I purchased on the valentine farm story are gone?

Please return the rice crop to water. I like the new farm story with the tulips etc... But I also love my rice WATER!!,

This issue obviously started on the 30th, will this be the new norm or are they looking into fixing the bug? Think Quitting the farm will probably get them to.
