It is used to catch salmon and tuna. It works just fine if they are the fish you need.

I rarely, if ever, make it. However, as pundoggity said, it is really good for catching salmon and tuna. If I see one being sold in the newspaper then I snap it up quickly.

I only make them before I go to bed. I keep around 20 of those for hot air balloon & train orders. Use them when you have hotspots to maximize your chance of getting salmon & tuna.

Set price to max when you sell them, they are hot items.

I don't think you have to worry about hotspots to catch salmon or tuna. Out of all the baits I've used for them not once have I ever failed to reel one in. I'm pretty sure if you use the bait for them you are guaranteed to catch one or the other.....no need to wait for hotspots.
