I restarted my iPad after I uninstalled DS Halloween. Good luck and hope it helps.

Mine keeps crashing too. Don't think it my memory, I am on an iPhone 5s and have 2.2 GB available.

Maybe restart your device and/or uninstall and install again the game, will help, I don't have any problems with the game, but this can help.. TL is saying this all the time x)

I don't think it would be memory, I have an iPhone 4s too but with 0mb memory left, and DS doesn't crash for me yet, but I find it lags a lot when I visit someone over level 99. I hope your problem gets fixed, and hopefully TL will be nice and give you a free magma dragon!:p

No one put the date in the title so it makes it harder to figure out. You should have at least 4 weeks from day 1. Okay I looked it up for you. It started 10/21/14 so that gives you until the 18th or 21st of November. Good luck.

154 pieces!! Evolved my crusader and diamond both twice giving me 11 bombs per evolve. That's the only benefit of those long 44 hours!
11 bombs can give me around 24 magma pieces.

We all wish that were so, but for now all of the extra pieces just sit in your storage. Hopefully, TL will come up with some kind of solution for the unusable stock items soon.

But yes, I just relogged in and noticed that my evo time was halved. NOT THAT THIS UPSETS ME. I have a TON of dragons I need evolved!

Ugh that stinks...but i think it is part of the plan that more players will have to buy gold to speed up things so that they don't miss out on the mining dragon - myself i try to feed dragons that have a nice balance of cheap food/long evolution time to get as many bombs as possible, and i've had no problems getting mining dragons in good time. I've crafted the Magma one already so now i'm just holding off evolving until this useless feature is gone.

Oh well, good luck with that Quartz - may the crops be with you! :)

I'm trying harder for this one than I did any other and am out of space for dragons and am even evolving my diamonds. This Half time evolution foolishness couldn't have come at a worse time. Would have been better has they kept the parts we get the same, but halved the time.

Yay, evolution times are back to normal. Also noticed that I put a serpent fail in for ~9 hours and last night and it was still ticking over this morning so the half-time isn't locked in from the start. It bounces back to full time if you haven't finished evolution by the end of the event! :D

I got two obisidion dragons traded one only got a small onyx gem.
Got 123 magma core for the second one at the moment.

you can go to trade your first magma then it will tell you... just be sure to press cancel and not trade!!!

I did that and it shows a large onyx and large Ruby, but it did the same with obisidian and it also showed two large ones. But when the trading was done i didn't get a large onyx. I had only small ones in the store and spelshow

You sent an email, and did you cheked if they respond? The game gave you the wrong gems, TL needs to fix that.

It's Tiger's Eye :p Tigerfly is a Spin to Win dragon :)

Don't know, when it comes to decide between those two, many players choose the best fighter between Tiger's Eye and Jade, I don't have an opinion because I'm still missing Onyx

My Diamond dragon is stuck on the temple because I have 25 bombs to use D: Since I was affraid of tapping on the temple by mistake I had to put the temple on the new blue expansions from the mine, I only expanded 4 times and my temple is on the middle of that blue island ahah alone, away from everything and everyone..

PS: I know that there are players still collecting the parts to craft the dragon.

You can use the bombs to get food. We still have days left on this dragon still and you carry on evolving dragons, using bombs and if you plan it right, you can still have 25 bombs ready when the new dragon goes live for mining.

I hope this thing isn't removed Friday. I've pulled all my diamonds out and will get them to epic if need be, but I still need 60 more parts. I mean every little dragon is at level 7 now. I'm about to argue with new dawn to feed as many more to epic as possible.

Yeah, because you didn't notice my PS tag, I was being peaceful and funny, if you didn't see that, it's not my fault ;) ("ahah" it's in the post, and talking about my temple being alone and away from everyone and everything, it's not to say that I'm sad, actually, I laugh about the temple being there)
I'm not the only player that probably already have the dragon, I want the new one, of course, but I can wait, because every mining dragons stays for certain time in the game, and every player craft the dragon on different days. I only said that because I decided to post, just for that.

They usually announce it on an update day to be removed on the following update day.

edit: although you may not get a pop up until the you open your game after day reset the next day.


Update days are Tuesday and Friday.

I have seen no pop ups for this dragon to be removed so I think it must have at least a week left, if not more. Maybe TL are busying organising something special for Black Friday, or as started to ease out their cycles as we approach year end. Many people will be busy with all the end of year activities so more time would be appreciated. I remember way way back with Black Knight, TL left this tournament dragon available for more than 2 months I think. I managed to craft 3 in the time I think.

As for me, I've crafted it already and it's sitting on my nest :) It's a very cool looking dragon, better than the other recent mining ones.

Sehana's page shows several timers, including one showing that the Magma Dragon will go away on Friday. I sent you a PM.

The Magma started on Tuesday, Oct 21. It would be a 4 1/2 week run if it closes on Friday - which is consistent with prior mining dragons - but the TL has been switching things up lately and they are less predictable than before. If the Magma is ending on Friday we should see a countdown timer in the mine sometime in the next twelve hours or so.

After I saw Friday was the last day I went to use some bombs but I couldn't because it said it was expired. It's back to normal now. I would had freaked out if I didn't already have one.

I have no idea; maybe they have a better evolution strategy than I do. I've been checking the evo times & trying to plan it so that when one is done, another goes in the temple right away. I try not to ever let one sit unattended, rather grab it as soon as it's done.

I don't think the Magma is especially strong in the Battle Arena. In my experience, the dragons obtained from mining are not very valuable for the arena. By contrast, the world event / summoning dragons are very valuable in the arena.

From the recent events, my "baby" account ends up using the Shooting Star and Stardust fairly often. The Kabuki gets called on sometimes too. This is an account that has no diamond or champion.

Now that I'm looking at it I think most of my World Event dragons that are used frequently in the arena are from the earlier events such as Pyramid (Egypt), Spring & Marshmallow (Easter), Acrobat & Illusionist (Circus), All of the Soccer dragons, and Aphrodite (Olympus). It also might be that these come up for battle more often because I've hard these for a longer time and I've had time to evolve most of them to EPIC.

I'd be curious of the experience of other players regarding their best arena dragons that aren't champions or diamonds.

I've been evolving nonstop and using some free gold to speed a couple dragons along. But have not wasted time with it. I cannot see how anyone can get these dragons without using gold more often to speed evolve. Let alone two. And I've been throwing diamonds in there so as to not waste time.

I just need 15 kore pieces and have out a 14 hour dragon in to evolve. I should have time to get it out and see what happens. I've a gold sale so 3.99 for a dragon isn't a huge deal. I worked too hard for this brat. I do know unless the dragon is super amazing I give up mining. They don't keep them around long enough. It's stupid.

I was saving up the max amount of bombs for the next dragon, never wasting bombs by going over the limit...

It's the colour combinations and their rarity and limited factor (not breedable) which makes then strong fighters.


When there is next a tournament watch the battle calculator and look for where you have gaps or where a dragon you have gets suggested but you don't have it as epic.


If you're fighting a dragon with two colours then you are stronger if you can attack both colours in the battle. For example if you are fighting a yellow and blue you need pink/black to hit the yellow and yellow/purple to hit the blue. Marshmallow is a limited, super rare dragon with pink/yellow/purple so strong colour combination to fight yellow/blue dragons.

A lot of the event dragons are 3 colour combos which are limited/super rare so they can often attack more than one colour in a battle.


But don't forget that just fighting one colour is also important and effective so make sure that you have all the colours covered by having epic super rares. A yellow/blue to fight red. A red to fight green. A pink or black to fight yellow. A green or pink to fight purple. A blue or purple to fight white. A black to fight pink. A green or white to fight black.

If two colours are needed to hit a colour like blue or purple to fight white, then it is good to have an epic blue/purple super rare like Aether. Or a green/white to hit black like White Rose.

For instance, there was this one, a few months ago that had red and white colored gems we had to mine that I never managed to get enough to finish. I can't find it in my inventory anymore to look it up. Did they remove all materials from the inventory? I had many other mining items that I was going to use when mining dragons are brought back into the game. Some of them I had 100+ items saved up for each dragon. They should've only removed pieces for dragons a player already has on the island.

They didn't remove the items, just hidden now. You still have all those pieces you just can't see them until that dragon becomes available again. Given they've started rotating back to older mining dragons, then it's only a matter of time before you get to try again on some of those dragons you missed. I missed a few too since I went on haitus for a few months. Can't wait to have another shot at them.

That's great to know! Thank you.There are so many dragons I've missed on in the past and for many of them I have at least half the items required, so it's more encouraging to try out for them. I can't wait to see what's next.
