Apple phone and iPad issues

Hello,
I used to play bakery story 4 years ago on my android and now that I'm back on it after so long I have been having issues. I'm using a different device now my iPad and iPhone. The main, home and design button gets stuck and I have to keep tapping it. I assumed it was due to the iOS 8 update. My provider told me to do a factory reset and everything will work fine, but it doesn't. This tap, tap , tap has become so annoying. Any suggestions?

I think this is more of an apple issue, but this has been reported and TL is looking into these new glitches with the iOS8 update.
I have Iphone 5, and I have to do a hard reset a couple times a day.
Hopefully a fix will be sent out soon.
