Does anyone know why this goal popped up now instead of earlier in the game?

Does anyone know why this goal popped up now instead of earlier in the game?

They sometimes add goals that are meant to give beginners a boost.
I just checked this one. The completion screen flew by so fast that I barely had time to recognize that it was asking me to "have a Plantlers."

I noticed some other beginner goals that popped up lately like
Pillar of the Community (something to do with visiting)
Making Friends (add/invite a neighbor)
Some goal about having a name or a Storm8 ID...

They don't mean much to players who have already made a fair amount of progress, but they help and encourage new players.
