Hi all, finally managing to get online long enough to check out how everyone is doing :). Looks like everyone is either progressing nicely or already finished. I haven't read back very far, but congrats to everyone and good luck to those of us still battling. My last few rounds;

I guess I would call it a glitch. Everything else seemed normal. I think I'll stay away from Halloween decor till I'm done with tournament just in case it has something to do with it.

Something is going wrong somewhere. Tuffy's husband beat Immortal then an hour later he had Immortal again. Maizee didn't get to battle a 29th round as her game skipped it. So she went directly from round 28 to round 30.

It's a great thing when you get to skip a round but to have to beat an opponent twice is not nice at all.

Crazy stuff! I hope it gets fixed asap.

This is what I was worried about, gold being lost as a result of this glitch. I posted a thread about this under "Bugs and Issues" I am hoping a Mod will jump on this and talk to the right TL staff to ask them to fix this problem right away.

This is what I was worried about, gold being lost as a result of this glitch. I posted a thread about this under "Bugs and Issues" I am hoping a Mod will jump on this and talk to the right TL staff to ask them to fix this problem right away.

Thanks for that carbuck! I went over there and posted about what happened to hubby. This is especially unfair when it happens on high level dragons that are tough to beat in the first place.

This used to happen in the early days to me, but not recently. I thought they'd fixed all the issues but I guess not. One recommendation back then was after a big win you should farm or collect coins to make sure the game syncs and your connection didn't drop. One extreme solution is to always visit the arctic isles to make sure the game syncs your data.

Hello DS community. I've been helping friends move the last 3 days so haven't had any time to check the forum. I managed to get a few rounds finished but not able to continue recording my results. I just beat Astromancer with my epic Crusader. But it took three tries, same as the last time I faced Astromancer.

Two more rounds to go. I will not ultimate so I hope I get to finish this tournament. It's been a struggle, not from the battling standpoint, but from finding the few minutes at a time to get to play the game.

Just to recap some earlier battles, Diamond dusted Infinity earlier and just now I finally got Ancestor! Enlightened couldn't see through his beard, but Dynasty shaved it right off with those mean looking wing blades. BB+++. One more zero gold win chalked up :D

Well as of now no Mod has posted anything to say they are looking into this issue of rebattles after winning for this tournament.

So thankfully I still have the regular version. I will continue battling in it until they have resolved the issues with the Halloween version and responded to the Bug thread.

Dragons can be a bit unruly at times, and they can make a mess of things. Especially when they mess up our code!

If you see a bug in Dragon Story, make sure to report it with the following info:

1) Your Storm8 ID
2) Your device type (iPod touch Gen 3, iPhone 4S, iPad 2, etc.)
3) Your device OS (iOS 4.1.2, iOS 4.3.3, etc.)
4) Step-by-step of what happened before the bug occurred
5) Screenshots, if possible

The more info we get, the faster we can corral those pesky Dragons and get back to training!

I had a little tough time with Fireflower. I kept throwing Cerberus and Amazon at it. Its only because I forget to throw Cerberus in the spa to reheal to try again is why I wound up choosing Dynasty and it worked.

She could try those I mentioned and also try any other champ if she has any and try Hannukah, Social, Porcelain, Marshmallow, Easter Egg.....just to name a few.

Things are looking grim for me (again). I feel like a broken record over here! Stuck on immortal still, full day now, countless dragons, have tried all possible at least once. I remember saying back in the Loki tournament (last one I won) that I was afraid if I used gold, TL would never let me win without it again. It's looking to be the case. I have a theory that folks who put actual money into this game will be given better odds at tourneys and breeding.
Oh we'll. I'll keep plugging away, been playing every hour today, but going out to dinner with hubby soon, so good luck finishing, guys!!

Things are looking grim for me (again). I feel like a broken record over here! Stuck on immortal still, full day now, countless dragons, have tried all possible at least once. I remember saying back in the Loki tournament (last one I won) that I was afraid if I used gold, TL would never let me win without it again. It's looking to be the case. I have a theory that folks who put actual money into this game will be given better odds at tourneys and breeding.

Anyways I don't think you are correct just if my results are a reflection. I have at least 2 dragons a tourney that wear me out. I use at least one ultimate a tourney as well and have used up to 3 when nothing worked....just me ;)

Just finished both accounts at the same time. Struggled most of the day with Ancestor but finally won with level 4 kite! The other account won Ancestor with level 7 Arcane. I was so busy this weekend I didn't even keep track of my wins and who won what but just played when I could, I thought I wouldn't finish but then I did.

My husband managed to win the tournament on my account in the few last minutes of the tournament, timer has left only 6 minutes when he won the last battle for me and ancestor popped up in my storage!
