You have a nice thread about the Fortunes. Well for this one you need to chop a log. Now you can use the trick to get an infinite amount of glimmer stuff.

How do I complete this quest???

Buy some old logs, only chop 2 of the 3 chops, sell it, repeat. This will give you unlimited glimmer shards and fragments. It will stop if you clear the whole log with 3 chops. So ONLY CHOP TWICE.

The Fishy Fortune
(It's hiding some place Forgotten!)
Collect from Forgotten Roost x 1
Rewards: Mercury Feast x 1

The Fragrant Fortune
(Follow the Fragrant scent!)
Collect from Conservatory x 1
Rewards: Red Petal x 6

The Shining Fortune
(It's some place dark!)
Collect from Observatory x 1
Rewards: Wisp Lantern x 3

The Sticky Fortune
(It's between the rocks!)
Chop down Small Rock Pile x 1
Rewards: one Super Glue per chop
DONT CHOP ALL OF THE ROCK PILE. Just leave one chop and then sell the pile for unlimited super glue
