Yes, but the window is small and this is my 3rd really hard dragon in a row. So for now I'm going heal all my dragons. I got my Winddancer so it's all good.
1st Rainbow 14, 2nd Yeti 14 and now a Valkerie 13, sorry thought he was a 14. Last 2 wanted to make me cry, lol.

The Cave 14 is a hard one - I'd keep trying with your Avenging plus any other champion-type dragon you have. If you don't have any other champions I'd throw Aether, Forestfire, Peacock into the mix with your Atlantis, Big Bad and Landworm.

Do you have Atlas, Forestfire, Goodwitch, Justice, Landworm, obsidian, platinum, Rising Sun, any champions? These are some that should be good against Aquarius.

I've only had 2 opponents and they aren't going down the first try. I am waiting for a 2nd go at Alpine. Amazon didnt win.

I wish there was a way to use our Ice Age dragons against opponents in the arena.

Awwww sweetie I understand. Again why so hard TL? It's just a side battle, right? Please make it more enjoyable and less a pain, please! Not sure how to get Alpine down but will take a look. I agree, why all of a sudden supper hard or unbeatable dragons? I saw one of our pals on here just ultimate Rainbow 14 to turn around and get Rainbow 12?!?!? Ghostie I think I'm now on day 3 with Valkerie 13 and I just battle maybe 3x a day. This is getting crazy out of hand! I seen many of us battle ridiculously high level dragons that has a small % of dropping. I still have 16 dragons to heal and if I battled Valkerie more then I do I would have most my dragons in line for the spa and then a tournament would pop up and I would have a skeleton crew to battle. Good luck everyone and hope this is fixed! :)

Hi Carbuck! I agree with you. I just managed to heal all my dragons from the last tournament. I'm waiting until my dragon heals before attempting another round. Hopefully TL will throw some easier dragons in the mix. Good luck to you and all!

I would guess TL has made the side battles so hard so people "have to" participate in the tournaments, where they're more likely to spend gold. They are in business to get our money, after all.

Lol I believe your conspiracy theory and wish they know that not everyone is crowded yet and should have a choice to craft or not. It's bad enough everything that could help is high gold, not much for coins and we can't even trade coins for gold! Heck I have so much coins I'm drowning and what can you buy with coins? Nothing! Or worthless junk.

Oh well I have great news day 4 and my Guardian bashed Valkerie hard! Yup 1st bash and there was just a thin red! About dang time but now I'm scared to see who pops up in an hour, lol. Thank you for your advice and my line is much smaller and should all be healed today or tomorrow. :)

I'm sure it's not just my imagination but the arena seems really tough at the moment.. What should be really easy opponents are beating my epic super / ultra rares. Already so far behind on this one.

Same here. I fought a Alpine for the better part of two days and I have 3 super rare champion Epics, many Red Yellow Epic super rares and even a Forest Fire. TL have flicked the hard switch. I'm up to about 9, when normally I would have 20-30 items before the first tourney. Pansy 14 is not being much of one, beating my epic Goblin twice in a row.

Last night, Melody ****ed my Illusion, honeybee, night elf, emerald, storm, diamond until she was defeated by Quetzal. Unfortunately, Quetzal could not take down Serpent in next round. I'm thinking about Seabreeze or some dragons have yellow element.

Same here. I fought a Alpine for the better part of two days and I have 3 super rare champion Epics, many Red Yellow Epic super rares and even a Forest Fire. TL have flicked the hard switch. I'm up to about 9, when normally I would have 20-30 items before the first tourney. Pansy 14 is not being much of one, beating my epic Goblin twice in a row.

Hello Fresh, Sag, Lips, Clarity and everybody.

I have about 52 orbs so far. I have been doing battles at intervals so that I can heal my dragons. I only have 1 dragon left to heal. I do like it when we have a tournament because the pace is faster. When I am focused on it I don't take time to count parts so that at the end of the tourney it becomes a pleasant surprise that I have amassed so many parts. Just my way of thinking. I hope all of you are doing well and that these offline battles aren't too much of a strain on your pool of dragons. Good luck all!

Yeah, once you become a high level player (probably 90+) no opponent is lower than a 10. I'm 108 and they've ranged between 10 - 14 for the past 15-20 levels I say. It is frustrating that even in a non-tournament fight we have to face level 14 dragons when we can't get any higher than a 10.

I honestly wasn't sure I wanted this dragon so I got a late start on it. I figured I'd end up with orbs in my storage simply due to tournament dragons I may want or world events that would happen so I may as well go for it. This is one that if I get it, great and if not, it won't **** me.

To be fair, at least it seems that these huge beasts go down after less tries in regular battles than they do in tournaments. I fought Helios about 8 or so times today as opposed to sometimes 20 in a tourney. He did finally go down to Warden 10. Still seems like the deck is really stacked against higher level players. Seems counterproductive to fair game play for loyal 'customers' in my opinion. Oh well, still plugging away. Thanks for listening guys :)

If you have any Epic Champs, you will have a 45% chance against Shell 14 (guessing on the level). Also, Epic Fairytale, Mythic or Rainbow have the same odds. Hope you beat him!!! :)

I usually beat Arctic dragons with Champions. Just keep trying :)

Tks amerirish for suggestions, I don't have any dragons You mentioned, So badly. I tried Serpent and waverides but unsuccessful. The dragon which came so closest was landworm but when I healed and tried again and agian, the results were unchanged:(.

Hello wveryone. I am stuck on diamond prism now. Its one tough opponent after the next....... Its so hard to get past by with no diamond dragons..... I remember battles were more manageable before. (Sigh) Oh well i think im better off trying fot the mining dragons :D

Lips i have had penguin three times recently...and after quite a few tries, my winners were atlantis, guardian and baby mindvolt ....hope it helps

I have 96 pieces and stuck on Prism for 3 days. Really hope to get a mini tournament today, I don't want use Ultimate in a normal battle:(

Don't forget its only 12 gold to use Ultimate when there's not a tournament versus 30 gold when it is a tournament.

Finally got Penguin 14 down with my new hatchling Metal 1 and it was over with a bash! After I lost Atlantis and Mindvolt. Just so happy to be past that mean Penguin. I now have 65 orbs, was off by 2 lol. Now just 34.

For a Zodiac use Red, Mythic, Cosmic, Champion, Metal avoid using Yellow, Purple, Fairytale, Soccer. Good luck. :)

I'd use Diamond, Diamond hybrids or babies.

Use Champions if you have them... otherwise some of the Super Rares are almost as good (Aether, Atlantis, Landworm and Social are some examples of Super Rares that do well against Polar).

Try water or fire if mercury or crusader don't work...it usually works for me

This dragon was released on 3rd of October, the battle arena craftable dragons normally stays in the game during 4 weeks, so I think this dragon will expired, on 31th of October, or on 4th of November along with the world event or on 7th of November.

My Hibiscus on this last tournament was my saviour against diamond and champion types. :)

I'm not actually certain what you're asking, so I'll take a stab at it:

It was a limited craftable-only dragon this last month. Every month the battles in the arena give items that can be used during that month to craft a limited-release dragon. These dragons are not breedable, they can only be crafted.

The "regular" dragons that have no timers and can always be crafted are the various gemstone dragons (gemstone, onyx, pearl, quartz, sapphire, jade, emerald, tiger's eye, amethyst), and a few others (lotus, comet).
