Hippogryph emerged from her 23-hour evolution a few minutes ago. I adore her at this juvenile stage; if only I could keep her at Level 9 forever. But she's my only decent answer to the Water-Natures of the battlegrounds, so right back to the Flower she went.
She'll probably come out tomorrow with a HUGE wingspan, blocking the view of my lovely Leopard. I just threw Pegasus off the Upper Ice Shelf for that reason. Ah well. There's nowhere else for the hippy to live. Guess I'll live with it.

This will be my first hydro-electric breed. I was waiting for the super to be introduced before trying for Conducktor or Falconch. Hoo-hoo! I'm a super water bender! Doing my Water Tribe tai chi thing as a happy dance.

SO glad they released this today. Because it means I can put 4 elements in the den, one of them electric, and have a shot at 3 different electric supers from it... and NO FRIGGEN THUNDERHAWK FAILS!

First try = 13 hour fail (I already have a conducktor and THREE rampages, so it is most definitely what I'd call a fail)... but at least it's not a thunderhawk fail!

Oh, and, of course, it goes without saying, it's a fail on the unicorn as well. Because TL will NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER give me a unicorn.

I would be nice if there was a possibility to exchange creatures that you have a duplicate off.
I mean exchange with other players. I am trying for sea drake and glacial griffin a lot of times.
I feel a little ashamed to say, my second unicorn is almost hatched.

That's great I wished I had one unicorn but none. That would be a great idea. I have two sea drakes but no glacial griffin.

An educated guess, haha. A hippogriff "is a legendary creature which resembles a winged horse with the head and upper body of an eagle" (Wikipedia). The art for the creature in the battlegrounds looked exactly like one. So you could say the name they gave this electric-water hybrid is just a varied spelling of the word.

It's totally understandable! In retrospect I should have reviewed what I had said, haha. It was definitely poor timing and a poor choice of action on my part; sorry for the confusion and offense, it was unintended! I understand that feeling of not wanting to look like a goof, haha. You and I both are alike in that manner. Glad we could resolve that quick and peacefully!

To stay more on topic, any pictures of the egg? I'm sure there're some of you out there tempted to gem-speed it through the Breeding Den. :P I, for one, will not be able to attempt this until I move this mammoth-butt out of the Den and onto the Nest (typically since I'm a gem hoarder rather than a spender...), so any pictures would be super appreciated! Taunt me with your luck! I dare you all, haha.

When I said "Leopard-Frostfang: 22hours," that was the combo. Lightning Leopard paired with Frostfang.

Oh I love this one! My luck has been holding. With this Hippo I made 57/58, having finished the battle, but it seemed nothing would get me the tiny little Hedgehog!

I was thrilled to get this fellow and spent down to my last gem before finally getting the elusive Hedgehog. Except for the difficulty most of us have with getting the Gem critters, I am almost too lucky in this game sometimes. My problems have been getting the low rarity animals, not the rarer ones! I too wish we could exchange animals with each other because I bred about a dozen Grassquatchs that I had to sell to finally get my Hedgehog.

I got so excited seeing the Hippogrypf in the battle that I set about preparing for it and I rearranged habitats to make a place for this if I ever got it. Then with a Lightning Leopard and a Frostfang bred as soon as I saw it show up in the store it was almost too easy. Despite having a spot prepared for it I was pleasantly surprised to see it pop up so quickly. I just had to speed it up to see it in my kingdom.

Both parents were Level 9 if I recall correctly. I tried with my Level 15's to start, failed as expected, so I tried again with the lower levels. Not sure why, but I seem to do better breeding lower level animals than high level ones when trying for newly released animals. Not sure if my experience means anything, but as there are those who keep great records for the rest of us, this is the info for breeding my Hippogryph if it is of any help to anyone.

When I visit community, saw ppl breeding lightning leopard + skyger... Wondering what will be the outcome? Will skyger breakdown into fire+water in breeding? Or will just to get lightning leopard / skyger as the outcome? Anyone in this forum has tries that before?

Leopard5 & Frostfang10.
The levels and rarity shouldn't matter; therefore, recent experiments excluded, I generally breed with the lowliest creatures. Low level. Low rarity. Low income. This Leopard is just a breeder so she's L5. Frostfang is L10, only because I put several of my early commons through 2 evolutions before I realized it was a waste of good food.

My elder Leopard is my only L15 animal (deliberate food indulgence), so she stays home, earns coins and mostly looks gorgeous. She's the elegant super model of Satyr Sanctuary.

The water electric hybrids have been the easiest for me so far. Just got 22 hours. For some reason with this game I've been getting rares on the first go. Not that I'm complaining. =P

Those players may be using the Skyger-Leopard pair to breed additional Leopards (I bred one using Unicorn-Leopard); otherwise they are chasing some impossible dream. They can't be doing it for additional Skygers because Frostfang-Pony will give you those without fail. The Skyger does not break down into its component elements, so the Skyger-Leopard pair cannot breed Electric-Fire or Electric-Water hybrids.

Nice Sand, that's a sweet looking egg. Yesterday I tried a Frostfang on the "left" side of the breeding den, Leopard on the right. Got a Conduktor. Thought I'd switch it round today. Got a Conduktor. LOL!

I finally got it. 22 hours of breeding is outrages, it's almost half time as breeding a unicorn but it will produce less than 1/3 of unicorns income.

I didn't get this at my first try, then when the new creatures came, I tried those. I got lucky that the first one is one of the new ones. Then my second is the second new one. I decided to try this again since I realized that if I gave luck getting new creatures, I can get more if I try again. So far, I hatched one, hatching one, and will hatch one.

Try to breed for another creature, then try this one again. Maybe if you keep trying for a specific one, you won't get it. And you'll get it after you tried others before trying this again.

After changing my pair to have better chance at Hippogryph, I get another gold lion!!! Decided to speed it up to try again, and I finally get a Hippogryph!!!! Now I have to wait 22 hours til both the gold lion hatches and then put Hippogryph in nest!!! Last creature I have to hunt for now is Onyx Ox!!!

I'm so jealous of you folks who have this lovely creature! I am still missing a total of 7 animals from my album but other than the emerald dragon, this is the one I want most!

Me too I am missing 7 at the moment, of course no emerald yet... I tried around 50 times for it but it's so frustrating, especially with unicorn out of the habitat... Hopefully we can get at least this one soon :) though at the moment my combinations with frostfang, leopard, falconch and conducktor gave me nothing but conducktors.
