I was just curious as to why a "Decline" button would be placed on a recieved gift.
For one it's already received once in the mail box.
And for two, it's a free gift who and why would you turn down a free gift especially a free gift without the ability to add a message or anything.
Anyone got something to add? I'm just curious ...and abit tired of accidentally deleting a gift.

It all depends on what you are looking for.
You can only take 20 gifts per day.
For me, I have over 40 active daily playing neighbors that send gifts.
I decline the lower paying gifts
I always return tips, but if I decline the lower paying gift it leaves it open that someone else will send me the gift I want ( cap in bakery and stew in rest).

That way you can ensure you have the highest paying gifts. Also, your neighbor has no idea if you accepted the gift or declined it, so no one's feelings are hurt.
