I no longer receive fans from winning battles at the arena and the quest for finding the fans has disappeared, however I still receive them from the farms.

The same has just happened to me. I also didn't get a fan when I won my last battle.

It appears to have just fixed itself. Everything is now working fine on my end as well. Odd.
