I would love to have the pizza mummy and witches stew. Maybe some Halloween drinks. A bat smoothie with a bat flying over the drink. A ghost drink. Witch drink. Mummy lasagna maybe. Dracula cookies. Devils food cake. Zombie donuts. Spider web cake.

A new haunted house. Some new Halloween waiters. HAUNTED HAYRIDE. Halloween door! Halloween host counter. Maybe have the host dressed up with a Halloween costume. Black shiny tiles. Flying bats wallpaper with stars in the sky. Mummy tables. Bring back the graveyard dividers.* A Halloween wedding scene.

I would love standing prime rib, holiday ham and fruit cake for Christmas. Banana pudding. Green bean casserole. Garlic bread. Broccoli with cheese. Belgian waffles with grapes.

More people of color like the pizza man.

Halloween is coming up, and I'm so excited to completely deck out my restaurant with Halloween and spooky items!

Please in October, please spooky/Halloween goals, AND update AND new Box - previous years have been excellent with so many new dishes and items for this time of year - please do the same again this year!!

Spooky outdoors items would be great! New outdoor spooky wallpaper, with scary trees, grave stones, zombies coming out of the ground, cast iron fence (divider), werewolf, vampire, witch - all of these things combined, players could create excellent spooky scenes!

Thanks for listening Team Lava!

I would appreciate some recipes that had a $10.00 or higher profit per plate. The highest we have now is $6.00 per plate.

Thank you so much for starting this thread, Kooky! I've got a lot of suggestions and a lot of pictures... here goes!

AUTUMNAL/SEPTEMBER EQUINOX (Okay, maybe not a conventional holiday, but it's recognized as one!)
Autumn stuff please! I'd love to see some trees with browning leaves as floor decorations, preferably freestanding and un-potted (as in, just the tree and nothing else attached. Most of the trees we get in the game have people underneath or something else attached, or are potted if they're freestanding, so it would be nice to have a tree by itself). Maybe we could also get some dirt floor tiles, kids having fun in a huge leaf pile, a rake wall hanging, falling brown leaves as a wall hanging (like the picture below, but brown or multicolored instead of black), etc.
-Recipe Suggestions: Pumpkin Skewers (please make this a new grill recipe (http://forums.storm8.com/showthread.php?72869-Could-we-get-some-more-grill-recipes) if this happens!), Cinnamon Rolls, Apple Cider (this is a locked recipe on the Drink Machine; perhaps it could be unlocked again for a limited time? Or maybe we could get something similar to it please?)
-Inspiration Pictures:
http://www.emcity.org/vertical/Sites/%7B1E82B5A1-7214-4119-8B22-41B2DC9546EB%7D/uploads/ist2_6542824-autumn-tree.jpg http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_N7FiXwKHEhs/TNLPkpWO4cI/AAAAAAAAGrQ/Jnb0vHzmgTE/s1600/fall+decorating+-+fall+design+-+holiday+interior+design+and+decor+-+wall+decals+-+leaf+decals+-+wallpaper+-+wall+art+-+wall+decals+-+fall+leaves+-+dining+room+design+and+decor.jpg

DIWALI
Obviously October will probably be more focused on Halloween, but RS features cultural items and celebrations from around the world (we even had Chinese New Year goals), so maybe we could get something for Diwali in October? Maybe a festive lamp arrangement floor decoration like the one pictured below, or a hanging lamps wall decoration, and some Indian children enjoying sparklers? This could also be a good time to add some Indian food to the menu like people have been requesting!
-Recipe suggestions: Besan Laddu, Aloo Gobi, Masala Chai (could be done on stove top rather than a drink machine)
-Inspiration Pictures:

HALLOWEEN
Perhaps we could have a Costume Party as the overarching goal theme? We could get items like costumed guests (preferably with different skintones), a spooky refreshments table, a mummy waiter (this could go well with the Egypt goals we had in August), and more! Maybe a costumed Phoebe or a costumed Chef Lee could also make an appearance!
-Appliance/Recipe Suggestions: a punch bowl, which could serve Blood Punch, Slime Punch, and Witches' Brew Punch (picture suggestions below), and a Spooky Snacks Station/Machine which could serve Gummy Eyeballs, Brain Cupcakes, and Finger Dip!

http://noblepig.com/images/old/P1070146x.JPG http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-2_Y-u7fHHXw/ToX5ZxXkPnI/AAAAAAAABBQ/UXYvPu3T2_E/s1600/ss_0619_P.jpg http://images.media-allrecipes.com/userphotos/250x250/00/13/12/131284.jpg

-Miscellaneous: It would be really cool to see our bots in costume! I think this happened in a previous Halloween version of RS, so it would be really cool to see again! Also, maybe some previous seasonal recipes like the Pumpkin Porridge, Ghost Peppers, etc. could be brought back? And of course loads of Halloween decorations!

THANKSGIVING
A festive new door with an autumn wreath would be great! And it would be lovely to see Gran-Gran in a rocking chair
-Appliance/Recipe suggestion: SOUPS! Nothing says autumn quite like soup! For an appliance, perhaps we could get a large soup pot/crock pot like this one pictured below (left), except appliance-sized? It could have soup recipes like Butternut Squash Soup, Cream of Mushroom Soup, and Potato Leek Soup. It would be great if the individual servings could come in little crocks with handles, like the picture on the right!

http://www.hotpaella.com/images/products/CP049_1_lg.jpg http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51YhU3DRXOL.jpg

Maybe a second appliance could be a pie oven or personal pie maker, and we could get pies for the holiday! Recipes that come to mind are Sweet Potato Pie, Pecan Pie, and Cranberry Pie - I believe we already have Pumpkin Pie and Apple Pie as recipes on our regular appliances. If this happens, I wouldn't mind seeing the Pie Rack from Bakery Story ported over! It's the 2x1 item in the middle left in the second picture.

http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-WymYkXOX25I/Tf5b_pgZv7I/AAAAAAAAClQ/Y774gzZS0XI/s1600/breville-pie-maker.jpeg http://media.tumblr.com/2738be00e5d0dc99d7c767b5a9a16b3b/tumblr_inline_nakrhtFQXG1qm7yoc.png
-Other Misc. Recipes: Nut Loaf (for regular appliances)

BLACK FRIDAY
Request thread here (http://forums.storm8.com/showthread.php?72458-Black-Friday-request)! Please bring back previous goal items!!

DECEMBER HOLIDAYS (Hanukkah/Kwanzaa/Christmas/Boxing Day/Winter Solstice)
I'd love to see a pile of gifts, which could be used for really any holiday this season; some bare trees following the autumn request; a snowy floor tile which just looks like a small drift of snow; a snowing background for coins; people bundled in scarves, ice tables with snowball stools; snowball piles, a festive new door with winter wreath/window showing snow outside... anything winter-related! :D
-Recipe suggestions: Roasted Chestnuts, Winter Citrus Salad (winter is actually a very good season for citrus!)

NEW YEAR'S EVE
I'd love to see a New Year's Masquerade update! These could be either a regular update or integrated into December Goals. I'd love to get a Moonlit Night background, masks as wall hangings (the Mardi Gras mask is looking lonely) or even a wall of lights wall hanging (picture below), masked guests dressed in gowns and suits, a Party Favors table with noisemakers and party hats, etc.
-Appliance/Recipe Suggestions: Sparkling Ciders (Pear, Apple, Blueberry), Golden Crackers with Cheese, Countdown Cake, New Year's Ball Cake Pops on a New Year's Drink Machine and New Year's Oven respectively.

http://37.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m1tekgjjjC1qg3mqao1_400.jpg http://www.the-cake-lovers.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/new-year-cake.jpg http://mhsseagleeye.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/tet-srbgfyxd.jpg

Thank you TL! I know it's very unlikely all of these are going to make it to the drawing board, but I hope some of them do! I can't wait to redesign my restaurant during the holidays! :D

Halloween- Lots of creepy looking and sounding food. The challenge should naturally keep in the spirit of the holiday. I loved the lab assistant and lab experiment from last yr. Maybe the Action Chef and Phoebe would b dressed up in costume.
Thanksgiving- I don't remember that challenge last yr but I do have quite a few decorations that I must've gotten from a mystery box. I think a few turkey dinner would b appropriate as part of the challenge. Turkey shaped appliances r a must.
Christmas- I went all out 4 this one last yr. I had plenty of gems leftover from the Black Friday Sale so I was going thru the boxes like there's no tomorrow. We've gotta have a festive holiday meal so the settings and decor have to match. A roaring fireplace w either a cat or a dog curled up in front of it would b nice. I remember the challenge from 2012 cuz it was the 12 Days of Christmas and hopefully ull come up w something like that this yr. I doubt anyone would fly thru that 1 like they do now a days.
Overall I'm not picky about decor since I've got so much of it already. I'll just find the best way to mix in this yrs w previous yrs.
It would b nice if u allowed us, even for 1 day, to purchase more of the items u removed last yr that we might already have ij stock. I'm not talking about challenge items or mystery box items. I'm referring to everyday items, like those monster tables.

Great Ideas by Pixiegamer.
I really love the Idea of a Diwali theme. I'd even buy a Diwali themed box if you made one.

Here's what you guys could consider.

Decor:
Rangoli (sand art) for the floor
Diya (lanterns or those small oil lamps)
Indian Palace type Pillars and wallpapers
Paisley styled wall decor
Fire cracker/firework styled wall decor
Lady bot wearing indian outfit
A table with various spices on it

Food:
You could have 3 tasks
a ground earth oven to make Tandoori Bread, Tandoori Kebab & Tandoori Chicken.
Sweet Stove to make sweets like Jalebi, Rasgulla & Carrot souffle
A Drink machine shaped like a earthen pot for drinks like Lassi, Masala Tea etc
Chaats are really famous street food in India. You could make a chaat counter.

Seating could be like the arabian nights one, floor cushions in the paisley print. or whatever the team likes

Sorry, I'm getting a bit (no wait, very) carried away with this idea, but I don't celebrate Christmas, Thanksgiving and Valentines So I like this idea a lot.

Every idea sounds good, but: more just fall items & recipes in basic stove, oven and grill. Actually Halloween is only 48 hours including day of the dead. Some French recipes would have been nice with this weeks update. December Holidays, all good ideas. Every one happy, and we all learn something. pixigram has a lot of exciting ideas.

A door that cost coins for each holiday , new holiday recipes, pretty wallpaper and tiles for each holiday, table and chairs that match, a Christmas tree that has flashing lights not too small, wreaths with flashing lights, holiday portraits, holiday tiles that can match wallpaper. Christmas fireplace with stockings hanging from it, thanksgiving feast a family eating turkey dinner.

How about opening the holiday versions this year? Last year they did not work.

Second, how about content every week for a month prior to a major holiday?

I would love to see the Halloween and Christmas versions come back! I missed the Halloween because I just recently started playing, and really want some decor to add to next month's theme. Toons in costumes, trick or treating, witches, ghosts, Gothic - anything really. Halloween party, haunted houses, trees with bats or spiders, spooky gates/dividers...

FOR Christmas, Santa, elves, reindeer, snowmen, and gingerbread houses. Maybe the end of goal item could be a large gingerbread house (covered in candy, of course)! Or maybe even Santa 's workshop, or Santa riding a sleigh with reindeer, or Santa placing gifts under a large, decorated tree. Maybe two or even three goals would produce large decorations, the main goal being the best. WE could all be given a "stocking" that "gifts" smaller items once per day when we tap to collect - such as a table, chair, wall or floor decor, or even a gems/coins. :)

I think restaurant story needs to open up to more cultures so I would like to see a tandoor oven for tandoori, naan and various other foods. Maybe biryani, butter chicken, lentil soup, paneer, etc for Eid and Diwali. Also maybe a gyro cart, pierogi, in honor of rosh hashanah some challah bread. An oven just for pies. There aren't enough pies.

More traditional items for Thanksgiving and Christmas like holiday ham, mashed potatoes, biscuits, different deserts, Santa and Mrs Claus, elves, an option to dress our own characters, mistletoe

As for Halloween candy bucket displays, carved pumpkin displays, ghost greeters, candy apple, pumpkin clock, a death statue.

The option to serve food for friends so they do not spoil.

The actual holiday versions of the games....with the little streets decorated, the outsides of the other shops all decorated, snow on the ground.....little snowflakes actually falling through the screen like they did....that is what needs to come back!! I think from all I have read, that is the number one thing that people have been asking for. Maybe this will be the year!! :)

Yes, bring back the Spooky Chest!! By far the best of the Halloween boxes, I would definitely buy gems for this one. <3 Spooky Chest.

As several folks have mentioned, diversity in the color of the figures would be nice too. =)

A re-release of all the old content from both Halloween and Christmas would be much appreciated, especially the Christmas boxes which contain some real treats.

I like to have an outdoor section in my restaurant all year round, with the outlook changing with the seasons, but there's not a lot of wintery items available. So some more snowy decorations (in the same vein as the Winter Wonderland box) would be great, with particular attention on a snowy floor tile for coins. You've delivered both a plain sandy and a plain grass floor tile for coins already this year, so I have high hopes! Maybe just pull in the one from over in Bakery Story!

It would be fantastic if there was some unique concept over the Christmas period. For example, the Twelve Days of Christmas theme for the goals in 2012 was really fun.

Here's my idea - there could be an advent calendar theme ongoing right through December. Each day we could have a new festive addition, or even an old LTO brought back just for that day. And of course the last door on an advent calendar always contains something bigger and better, so let's have a sackful of gems as a generous gift from TeamLava to the players on Christmas Eve. That would be magical!

I would like one table that could seat more than one bot. Like a long bench table for Thanksgiving or a round one that we could use 4 chairs for. I know we can make them "eat together" by putting multiple tables next to each other now, but would find it really cute if more than one bot was at the same table.

Another idea would be themed floor mats that wouldn't actually block the door

I would love to have some releases of previous holiday box items. Halloween box items I would love are: vampire bartender, witch chef, coffin couch, werewolf cage, and spooky fireplace. Christmas box items I would love are: holiday express, holiday story, reindeer stable, abominable waiter, gingerbread express, and please, please the gingerbread castle. Thanksgiving box items I would love are pilgrim waitress, pie table, and parade balloon. Also, there was cute North Pole LTO from last year that I would love. It would also be awesome if you could make christmas/Halloween versions for apple/iOS. I miss my elf customers and the snow outside my restaurant. Thanks so much! I love the idea of an advent calendar going on alongside New Year's goals. This gives us New Year's content, with enough time to actually prepare for New Year's, while still acknowledging December holidays and giving us items related to them. I really hope TL considers doing this! :)

I also read on a certain blog that last Halloween, items from the previous Halloween were brought back - including past goal items! I'm hoping this might happen again, since I wasn't around for Halloween 2013. (Also hoping, if this happens again, that it stretches into November long enough for me to get a Leaf Pile! ;)).

New Year is often lost amid the excitement for Christmas, and since it's only really relevant for a few days it's not that surprising. But it would be nice to get some serious New Year stuff, and BEFORE the event rather than on New Year's Day as was the case this year!

I'd be very surprised if old Halloween items weren't returned at some stage in October. There's such a plethora of content at TeamLava's fingertips that it would make no sense to let it continue to collect dust and not be paraded around for a limited time. I should point out that the re-introduced goal items last year were for gems, whereas originally they could be purchased for coins. In all honesty I think this is fair as those players who got the goal items first time round had to do the hard graft to get them, so it only makes sense that there is a premium applied now.

Man, you really want that Leaf Pile pixiegamer! :D

I hope pixiegamer isn't serious? This is not an old folks game! Please don't bring in the 1970's Geriatric's Deco. I think that it's nice to have bright and colorful decorations when possible. No one wants to feel like their bakery is set up as a seen from the morgue! Dear Lord!! Thanks Giving is full of Oranges and Browns as it is...two of the most depressing colors EVER! I prefer to see cheery happy decor, with cheery happy colors..like last years Easter update! Loved it!! Reds and Greens are traditional Christmas colors but I feel this game should be a chance for the designers to be creative! If you want to use yellow and pink? BE MY GUEST! I'd love to see Christmas lights for the walls and windows. I think anything that looks Icy and snowy, like maybe some snow curtains for Xmas...also, for Thanks Giving, maybe some fall leaf curtains or some with pilgrims. I'd love to see an animated snow fountain! :-) maybe one that blows snow! We haven't done anything like that. A Christmas tree farm, Maybe a house with Santa on the roof. For Halloween...Let's do a Huanted House, a cemetery, zombies, Dracula, Sort of a Sleepy Hollow scene. Cemetery fence would be nice, Bat curtains because we always seem to get wall paper but no curtains. ANd FOR CERTAIN!! We really need Holiday music to match the holidays! PLEASE!

I fail to see how my suggestions imply a 1970s theme? There's no mention of disco balls or lava lamps anywhere throughout that post. There is no evidence of suggestions for a Green Revolution or military coups, either, so I'm genuinely confused. The only suggestion remotely relevant to your claim I can find is that of Gran-Gran in a rocking chair, but I hardly think she should be considered geriatric. She was spry enough to be throwing tea parties back in May!

And with Halloween coming up, I assure you, I've seen plenty of restaurants that look like they've come from a morgue. They look pretty fabulous to me.
(And since you mentioned 'bakery' rather than 'restaurant' in your post, did you mean to post this in the Bakery Story Holiday Suggestion Thread? To be safe, I looked there too. No mood rings, Bruce Lee movies, or Jackson 5 songs in my posts there either.)

If you're going to criticize my suggestions, please at least do it in a way that makes sense.

To end on a positive note: I agree with your suggestions about curtains. We got some curtained windows in Bakery Story with the recent polka dot update, and they look very pretty. It would be nice to see similar curtained windows in RS.

Hey TeamLava
I'm going to suggest some things for Christmas:
-An entire candy-themed christmas goal with christmas candy tables, a Christmas tree decorated with old-fashioned candy ornaments, candy cane floor tiles, chocolate wallpapers, and if you would, please bring back the peppermint tables and the gingerbread items. For the stoves, have the first one make old fashioned Christmas candy, chocolate santas, and Christmas tree cupcakes. For the second oven, have peppermint bark-covered brownies, chocolate-coated marshmallows, and of course the classic peppermint eggnog. After the first oven's complete have the Christmas tree with the candy I mentioned be unlocked, and after the second oven is complete, have a little scene be unlocked called "Santa's sweets" where santa and his elves are making Christmas candy!!! Hope this is a good idea! I have others, also but I'll put them on spectate posts.
Thanks and I hope you consider this idea!

Been playing BS for a few years, but just recently started RS so I'm not sure if they have ever been released or not:
Chicken and Dumplings
Chips and Salsa
Fettuccini Alfredo
Garlic Bread
Subs/Hoagies
Hot Sausage
Ravioli
Just some ideas. :D

These suggestions are for Halloween since that is the most relevant holiday at the moment. I will surely have some ideas for Christmas too, but I'm hoping these might be seen in time to make an appearance.

*Trees! Can we please have some stand alone, gnarly, leafless or autumn trees? There are just really not enough for any season, in either RS or BS....

*Witch decor! We've got costumes, and some zombie decor, and lots and lots of spiders and webs. But witches, basically a Halloween icon, are no where to be found! I would really love a witch to stir our recent cauldrons, as well as witchy decor like crystal balls, brooms, and maybe a black silhouette flying in the sky. Spell books, specimen jars, crows, and a black cat would all be welcome. Maybe some tables and chairs and other decor in green/purple/black for a nice departure from orange/black. Can we have a smoky spell fire/cauldron?! I understand that you have to leave some room for the following year's ideas, but witches, and ghosts, could really use some fleshing out. Which leads me to...

*Ghosts! We have a little bit of haunted stuff, but I would love a ghost floor decoration, even if it's the "in a sheet" kind. A tree with the little ones you tie on? A glowing graveyard ghost!

*Wall decor: I would love some picture frames with ghosts in them, or people with black/red eyes and fangs, or monsters. Web covered specimen/book shelves, large wall cobwebs, and some festive garlands.

* I would love some creepy lanterns for floor decor, some autumn columns of some kind, and a large black candelabra! Clusters of melted candles, either free standing or on a table.

*I am not a fan of actual dead people decor at all, but we could definitely use some bones!

*Werewolves! Pretty pleeeeease I would love one creeping around my graveyard. :D

Diwali is this Thursday, so here's hoping that TL will release some themed content for Diwali this week! :)

Although, with last week's rather disappointing box release, some Halloween content would also be appreciated. Perhaps TL could re-release past Halloween items alongside a Diwali update? That way, everybody's happy :)

Yes please I see other neighbors have a TON of Halloween decor from last year but this year only one table,
One chair, one wallpaper? Please at least give us the option to buy last years items!!
