Does the windmill produce flour?

I heard that the windmill produces flour, and as my kitchens are always busy i thought that it would be a good idea, maybe several. Now i've had one for a while - no flour! Will it produce flour if i upgrade?

Not sure if they produce more if you update them. I have 16 windmills. Usually I got 3-4 flours from collecting all. Sometimes none. (!) seems to be a rare drop. Earlier they dropped more.

Woah, 16... Need more than one school of m, one more deep mine, need room for the inn (drops wisps), more wondmills, more wells for fish... Puh. Where do i put it all. A kingdom for more wisps! No wait... I have a kingdom and i can't give it away! Life is rough ... :-)

I get around 1 drop of flour a week from 1 windmill.

To my knowledge, a higher level windmill will not drop more frequently. I think you do get more coins per drop, and more frequent, but the chances of flour per drop are the same (low). Considering the individual collections of wheat and collecting from a kitchen, if one drops ever 6 times, you've broken even on energy. Based on Anyuszko's numbers, on average collecting from windmills is a good bet.

I have 2 windmills and get several during a week, collecting from them a couple of times a day. I figure there is enough of a chance to expend the energy, if I have some to spare on that particular time

I wish they would increase the drop rate for flour. The whole point of windmills is to mill flour!!!!

Hi Everyone!

I need some advice. My windmill has stopped dropping flour about 3 weeks ago. It used to drop very regular flour and bread. Now I get only coins. I have deleted my game and re-installed. I've also put the windmill into storage and taken it back out. Your advice is needed. Thanks!

You're probably just on a streak of bad luck. The drop rate is pretty low anyhow. I have 2 and count myself lucky if I get a flour once a week. Never got bread though.

I have 6 windmills but only two are not the board right now for space reasons. All maxed out on levels. Collecting once every 8 hours, I almost always expect one or two flour to drop. They're very useful for that. I just need sugar mills now... :D

Would be great if the Windmills were the same as Farm Story 2, where you can make flour, sugar etc. And also add slots.
Kitchens shouldn't be for making the raw elements, they're for cooking.
Mills are indeed for making flour, and sugar too! :)
