I've never seen a red diamond/gem in my mine. Does it take a certain level or tool? I saw them for sale once in someone's shop and they keep coming up in the orders. Thanks!

Ruby is a rare item in the mine. If you are able to buy then you are able to mine it using mining tools. You may want to discard those rubies orders since it's rare and probably take ages to fulfil an order.

I seem to find more rubies when using a shovel instead of the pick axes.

Pick axes we have a lot so lesser chance to have that rubies!
