Massive Pop Ups - Is this a bug?

It doesn't happen very often, but when it does the pop ups multiply more and more. This time may be 40 times, last time 30, the time before 20 times etc. It seems to start with the most recent goals and go back and back and back. So the further along I am in the game, the more pop ups it'll have to go through until grandma welcomes me to her restaurant (weddings theme I think) where I started playing the game. Is there a way to avoid this? maybe a work around? is anyone else experiencing this?

I took so many photos, but I can't possibly upload them all. Compared to all the ones that popped out on my game all at once, like a flood, I only took very few photos too.

Yes, the issue with old goals popping up in the game is a glitch.
You can try exiting the game to see if they will stop.

This issue has been discussed for so long, I still keep experiencing it, have been for over a year.... Nothing fixes it, if I go out, they come right back on as soon as I log back into the game

I had the goal pop up problem as it is described. I was a few xp from ending lvl 18. restarted game and device, Kindle HD. Lvl 19 started with no goals or popups. Also tips not appearing in restaurant. Would be glad to roll back a day or so or will try suggestions to clear up hanging issue.

It happened to me yesterday, but only in restaurant story, not my other game. It's really bad when all you want to do is go in to serve food that's about to spoil.
