Gems from pets

Well it appears team lava is again hitting its players... Has anyone else noticed the noticeable drop in gems being received from pets? I have 30 active pets... It used to be that when collecting I would get about 3 gems most of the times from my pets. Now since the update I've collected from pets about 5 or six times and gotten about one gem. Why the decreased gem drop rate? Is it to get us to buy more gems?

I have the same issue less than 2 weeks ago then it went back to normal last week. Now it happens again. Very strange. I noticed a decrease in parts and papers too. Mostly coins.

Follow up, another collection from pets... 0 gems, very few tools.

Next follow up, collected again, 30 pets... No gems, 1 plank, 1 shovel.

This drop rate stinks.

This needs to be fixed or i quit...

Hope this isn't a prejudice against farms with many pets. :( hope not. It isn't as if we got our pets for free. We pay coins and gems for them. At least in my case, no offence to others.

My usual payout from my 13 pets are mostly coins and xp. Once awhile, I'll get a few expansion tools or 1-2 gems. That's all. :(

Are the gems from one farm or all your farms? Understand you posted you have several farms.

I have the same pets but they don't yield that many gems. I don't think it's pets dependent.

I think you are counting your total gems from collecting from your pets many times... I have gotten many many gems... But recently when collecting at the same time from all 30 pets (9 cats, 9 dogs, 9 horses, 3 rabbits) I have gotten few gems... In the past I would get two to three gems about 3/4 of the time when collecting from pets... Now I'm lucky if I get 1 gem in 1/5 times I collect from all 30 at the same time...

The drop rate is now very poor.

Notice the lack of comment from team lava. I guess this is the new reality... No gems, fewer gem drops... They want us to buy gems...

Team lava has now made the pets useless... We get few gems daily and few tools. They do this to make us purchase gems...

Farm story 2 used to be worth playing because we could earn or win gems. This has changed now. They've gotten greedy. Time to pack it up and play other non-team lava games.

Notice we don't even get the coutresy of a reply from team lava.

Looks like time to quit.

TL needs the profit from gems. I actually don't mind buying more gems to stock but I don't get any gems sale as others do, sad to say. Won't be buying another pet unless I want more white elephants. It costs more to buy pet feed than the yield lol

Again I don't get sales either. If I did, I would buy gems. I have the iTunes credit, but won't buy unless on sale or I really, really want something. Pets are now no longer on my wants list due to the lack of gem drops.

It would be nice to get an official comment from team lava.

Putting myself in TL's position, it'll be difficult for them to comment. If answer is YES to drop rates, players will be unhappy. If NO, players will be asking why it happened to them. This is my wild guess. So perhaps just play and hope things will improve. :)

Yes just cpl of gems in the last few weeks. I think previously it was difficult to get pet, so they had a good return. But now not so. I have eight. Only one bought with coins. The rest I have won in different events. I feel it's not fair for those who have bought them with gems and coins that the gem drop rate is reduced.

I have 9 gems pets bought with purchased and earned gems. They used to yield good gems but not anymore. Regretted buying them. Sad that TL changes rules of the game half way. :( This made me think twice about buying more gems. No point being a paying customer if farms with free pets get more gems. Not fair. :(

It means there are different drop rates for different players. Not surprised.
