I've got two Diamonds and a Quetzal now but I've used other dragons on diamond hybrids. I'll have to check my old lists but I know I've used dragons like Storm against Crusader, White Rose against Dark Angel (can't remember if this has ever worked against Black Diamond though). Pretty sure I've used Cheshire before against Unicorn. But I'll check my lists when I get home today.

well you could try other dragons that have that colour combo - strong on blue, less on yellow - trying to think of a rare one - how about seabreeze ? Easter egg ? against a level 20 dragon it doesnt matter what level you have :) good luck sweetie !

amerirish, do you have any strong blue/yellow hybrids? Social? Mindvolt? Or even one of the new ones like Tricorn? Any unusual tropics like Shell or Turtle? Any of those might work against the red.

Great news - at least you got sunrise AND eclipse !!

Good luck on angelfire - you have as much chance as everyone does - a lot of people have got champs down with level 1s - give it a go and good luck.
The other dragons to try and that apparently give a little bit of a bonus are Diamond, soccer, pyramid, passion, infinity and metal .. if you have any of those chuck them in, if they fail, then heal them and use babies in between !
I am stuck on Avenging (r25) so I am with you on hating these rounds :(

Quetzal is the best one to use on BD - you could also try some white/green hybrids chucked in the middle whislt you wait for him and your others to heal.

I remember the total feeling of helplessness on Helios last big tournament.
Have you tried some non diamonds to give it a bit of a boost ? The list I have of dragons who have got Helios down are : Hibiscus, ice cream, Easter egg, Ares, Aphrodite, serpent.

Well my list of non diamonds to beat crusader is a little small : so far its only Storm sorry :( but as its a diamond with a RED cast you could try for that weakness - for instance yellow/blue : social, storm or stone or champs or a tropic type ? Obviously the rarer it is the better !

Have you tried these for gold : angelfire. Fluffles (Marshmallow), Aphrodite, parakeet, fairy, ares - these are all dragons that have got Gold down in the past. Good luck and hope to see you on Rogue soon :)

Do you have soccer or pyramid - this is just one of THOSE dragons .. you have to keep healing your diamond / passion and sending it in and heal them up whilst throwing in L1 babies or lower levels which you can wait to heal ... Good luck !

try parakeet .. have you got lacewing or morning glory ?
Pink based seem to have a 25% chance - so kitsune, black swan, naga, aphrodite
arcane, stardust also have a similar chance - what I would do is think about which one of the ones you tried got the closest to him and then use one with a similar set of colours - for instance if you used arcane and he NEARLY made it, then try with stardust :)

You dont need diamonds :) I got obsidian down with White magic - my daughter got him with Dream - you need white/blue combinations like gargoyle, dream, blue moon or champs ... others that could be good Chess, goodwitch, sphinx.
YOu could also try aether, ancient, atlantis, celestial ?

try parakeet .. have you got lacewing or morning glory ?
Pink based seem to have a 25% chance - so kitsune, black swan, naga, aphrodite
arcane, stardust also have a similar chance - what I would do is think about which one of the ones you tried got the closest to him and then use one with a similar set of colours - for instance if you used arcane and he NEARLY made it, then try with stardust :)

Zeus taken down by eagle10. Can't believe I've gotten this far with no diamonds! I have only guardian, and he hasn't proven very helpful since about round 15.

You are doing amazingly :) well done !!!

OK - for crusader - the non diamond dragons I have on my list that have been effective are storm and black swan - that doesnt mean others wont work, they are just dragons that have worked in the recent past for people .. good luck you are so close ;)

I finally just beat obsidian with nightlight.

Onto zeus now..... Will try to read the forum for suggestions. I saw someoen used eagle which i dont have but maybe landworm. Same colors. Hopefully i can take him down tonight. Would feel a lot better with just three for tomorrow :)
