Thx trauma...yeah found the opponents easier with only a couple losses for the tougher ones so far. Luck is definitely on my side so far. Fingers crossed.

azucita and ameirish - honestly .. your babies and newly hatched have as good a chance as any if you dont have diamond, passion, pyramid, soccer or metal.
If you do have one or more of those, use them .. then heal them up and hatch a couple of level 1 fire or forest babies .. throw them in or use some other very low levels you have whilst the others are healing .. if they fail you can just sell them so your spa queue doesnt increase. Dont give up you will do it :)

I once got ninja down with a level 1 fire (he is still around .. I called him koninja !)
I would just use the usual suspects - diamond, soccer, pyramid, passion, metal .. cycle them around and chuck in a couple of lower levels .. my daughter got him down with cactus once ! Good luck sweetie

I am about to try eclipse again .. havent had a smooth run really but have loads of gold saved so am just going to ult my nasty rounds if they get ick - I dont use it on anything else :D

yes trauma, im trying that, im going to give my metal 6 a try first and then on to some babies



azucita and ameirish - honestly .. your babies and newly hatched have as good a chance as any if you dont have diamond, passion, pyramid, soccer or metal.
If you do have one or more of those, use them .. then heal them up and hatch a couple of level 1 fire or forest babies .. throw them in or use some other very low levels you have whilst the others are healing .. if they fail you can just sell them so your spa queue doesnt increase. Dont give up you will do it :)

BTW Lightning is a quest related dragon . I am sure you must have enough to get him now - go into your album of dragons and he should be there :) very useful in tournaments !

LOL....it's at round 20 i check what that reward Rouge dragon is for the first time, and i find out it's another Champion!

I think it's great that they're putting new Champions in game for those who haven't got such, but myself i find it mostly a great opportunity to not stress too much in tourney - of my 15 Champs i've bothered to level up 8, so missing out on number 16 is not a problem! If every other tournament has a Champion reward and the rest have some dragon with more interesting color combo it'd be great tbh!

Yes it took 44 hrs to breed, 44 hrs to hatch and then 44 hrs to evolve to a 6. Almost done with the evolving took me a long time to get a Diamond and I'm so happy. It will happen for you as well. I just threw Celtic and Athletic together just hoping and it worked.

Surprised me when Lily lost the first match with Eclipse. Put her at the head of the line at the spa. Tried Spellthorn then Hypnotic. For a "Not found through breeding" dragon, Spellthorn has been pitiful in the arena. Second time around Lily took out Eclipse in one hit of magic.

Surprised me when Lily lost the first match with Eclipse. Put her at the head of the line at the spa. Tried Spellthorn then Hypnotic. For a "Not found through breeding" dragon, Spellthorn has been pitiful in the arena. Second time around Lily took out Eclipse in one hit of magic.

But I just beat him with Easter Egg 7 bmm. Lost with Kitsune 9, Lightning 10, Aphrodite 7, Lotus 10, Emerald Knight 10, Aether 10, Gargoyle 7, Forest 1, Razorback 10, Light 10, Wraith 9 & Virtue 7.

I was getting mixed results - I was close using Lotus, Light, Virtue & the champs but I don't own a dragon with black, white & pink! I was not close with Lightning which made me think twice about Easter Egg.

Easter Egg was my winner against Helios at round 22 in the Angelfire tournament. He did not do well in the Phoenix flash tournament last weekend.

My suggestion may not work, but you could try Night. Unicorn is Pink & Diamond - fight the pink with black. I have noted someone has won using Landworm as well. Good luck - I am not looking forward to that round :)

I beat him with deep7. In previous tournaments bat and raven also worked. Car bucks is right, black seems to take him down! Good luck.
Also defeated avenging with zeus6 ( after several losses) the Olympus dragons seem to do quite well against the champs this tourney. Good luck!

champions work well - for instance the recent craftable champ - guardian - you could also try Marshmallow or Mummy ..
the other options which have worked for me and my girls in the past have included blue / purple combinations like Aether or Celestial. Do any of these work for you ?

When my opponent is a Unicorn dragon I use my Hibiscus lvl7, and this "normal" dragon defeats the Unicorn like she even was a diamond type dragon D: When my diamonds and champions dragons aren't able to defeat the pink diamond hybrid.

Sorry laurelsail .. other than the usual - this is a champ, its a matter of luck. You could try soccer/pyramid/diamond/metal - you could throw in some level 1 babies or low levels whilst the others heal .. some people ahve had good luck in this tournament using other champs against Avenging ...

I keep track of dragons I've won with in previous tourney. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Goodwitch has been great this tourney, also lily is amazing against any black like black diamond or eclipse. Also the Olympus dragons and soccer dragons seem to do well

I know that Lips has made it past quite a few previous tournaments without diamond hybrids so I suppose I could back track and have a look !

I just got a Diamond but here's the dragons I used against Diamonds and Hybrids;
White Chocolate, Hypnotic, Glass, Goblin, Soccer, Angelfire, Aphrodite, and Forestfire have worked for me. Hope this helps. :)

try Forest 1 It took me a few trials of this one, but some people got it at first with Forest1
