How often do your boars drop tusks?

The Troll Tribe quest is going so agonizingly slow for me, partly because my boars don't even drop tusks probably 50% of the time, so I can't make troll weapons to go on the Feral Lands Adventure and get feral magic (that I only get like 1 out of 10 times I do the adventure anyway!).

Aren't boars supposed to drop tusks all the time? Isn't that the point of even fighting them? I just don't understand why my boars so frequently don't drop tusks .

Yes, this goal is tedious, first just trying to get a boar and then you're right, tusks didn't drop every time. But, like all things, it will eventually happen, and once you're done, the boars seems to show up more often and have a higher tusk drop rate. I haven't taken much notice, but I'm sure they drop every time, and change between dropping 1 or 2 tusks at a time. Chopping for stones has triggered more boars than ever though I've found.
