Where did my newly bred puppy and kitten go?!

I started breeding a new Malchi puppy and crossbred Australian Mist last night. Since both takes about 9-10 hr, I thought it'd be done by the time I wake up.
This morning when I went to my shop, I was surprised that there weren't any new puppy and kitten, nor it was still breeding.
What happened?!
Has anyone had the same issue before?
And I've noticed that my money is short just about the cost of breeding those two.
Where did my baby species go?! I want them back!!!

This may have occurred due to a sync error, where your game reverts to a past saved point. We recommend that you do not leave the game running in the background for long periods of time. You can visit a Neighbor to save your progress beforehand and force-close the game when you are not actively playing it.

I always hit "back" button on my android phone to "quit" the game when I'm done with works. I don't think it happened because I left it running in the background.
Similar issue has been occurring in Farm Story 2 as well which I'm about to report.
