There is only one Bakery Story in the apple app store, and it says nothing about Valentine's Day.

Now why would they do that?? I don't understand apps that well. Does it sound like something we could use as inventory in our current Bakery Story games, or would this purchase mean it's a new game altogether? IF it reappears, I'd like to be prepared and know what I'm buying. Techies???

It certainly was there, I have it installed even. It's exactly like Bakery but with slightly different graphics. Only new item I could in the store are balloons. I'll see if I can upload a screenshot. Oh, and there are achievements that can earn you a bit extra. Not sure why it cost money though, even the in game FAQ said it was free.

I like the flowers in the grass and the lightpost! The balloons are nice, but they are so small I almost missed them.

Somebody said that in Farm Story - Summer you can't gift neighbours. Anybody know if you can do so in Bakery Story - Valentines Day?

The marks top left are the goals/achievements. Bake and sell three of X and you earn some extra money and XP, that sort of thing. Although it did start from scratch for me and is obviously aimed at new players. One of my current ones is buying a drinks mixer, when as you can see I already have two.

Mine kept all from the original. It's more or less irrelevant in which of the two I play.

Will the players using the free version of Bakery Story be able to see the new items and street look when they visit your bakery, or will the information for those things not be in their version? Or are the two games entirally seperate and a person from one game can't visit the other? (Might be stupid questions).

Not a stupid question! when the ngmoco We games changed over, ie We rule to We rule Quest, you just did the dowload and you kingdom was there instantly, exactly the same! New content, but your same game. (and it was free-everyone got it) Sounds like this will be different-a completely separate game?? I was looking forward to just an update, finally, to redecorate our existing bakeries and at long last, an expanded pastry menu!

How can Norman stand mute on this??? Easy, the way he is mute on many, many issues. Like why are there no weekly updates. Why don't they remove that from their app description. Why aren't there confirmations before you purchase holiday and magic boxes. When will there be an update, etc, ad infinitum. I think Norman is only allowed to say what the devs let him. While Norman can help sometimes (and be totally ignorant at others), I think that he might just be a bit of a middle man, doing what he is told to? But I am just guessing.

Oh, I absolutely agree with you...Norman is a middleman. He has no power or authority to do anything. He doesn't even provide any customer service, except to direct you to TL's email address (where they will not even respond to you). He can only say what the devs tell him...and right now they are trying to think of a plausible lie about Valentine Bakery. But ask yourself this; Norman sees all these things going on. He knows the real story about what is going on with them and he sees what is going on with us. Would you work for a company like TL? I would be a telemarketer first.

Ppl like you are the reason many of the experienced players no longer come to the forums to help newer players. You see nothing wrong with hijacking threads whenever it suits you, then arrogant enough to attack someone when they call you on your ignorant behavior. If Norman is absent as of late, it's because the majority of players don't come here....because of you and your ilk.

On topic,I haven't seen this new version. But I've seen farm flowers now has a cost. This overshadowing is worrisome. If they start charging before you try I will likely not play any new games. I only pay for things after trying it out. With the exception of Pages, I don't have a single "purchased app" on my device. I have bought gems and cc tho, because AFTER playing I decide I like enough to support. I'm rather sad if they're rethinking the strategy of try before buy. If it's buy, then play, I think they'll lose many players

When I open my Bakery in the original version, I get it with the original street. The balloons don't show there. I guess it's similar to the yellow and white roses the Android players have in Farm, those don't show in the iOS versions of the games.

If I had to guess, I'd say this was meant to be a test of a February update but they messed up somehow, and that's why it's no longer there. What's the deal with farm Story summer ?2.99 weird, wasn't that deleted?

We all want updates and an explanation of why this new Bakery Story was being sold. The poster with the brain implant remark could have worded their post a lot better, but I think his post highlighted part of the problem. We are all confused and wondering about this. Norman is the only one who can give us answers about it and he hasn't addressed this. Yet he has been on the forum for the contests, so why doesn't he answer our questions about this new Bakery Story? I think that was probably his point, although he did it in a rude way.

It's almost february and there is still Christmas stuff it would be so awesome to see valentines sweets and decor.

Maybe the charge was a mistake and they've pulled it off the App Store? I couldn't find BSVD but just downloaded FSVD and CSVD for free. Other than the pink, balloon like trees surrounding the city, I can't tell if there're any new things in the store, didn't seem like there were any. FSVD on the other hand had white and yellow roses added to the store and on top of that, the entire farm is surrounded by a fringe of colorful tulip-like flowers and a few scatterings of rosebushes.

There are also "mini-games" in FSVD the I feel are a bit of a rip-off. Some of them can be completed quite easily but the third game requires you to plant 5 plots of corn, fertilize 5 plots of corn and then harvest 5 plots of corn, which means that you'd have to spend 5 gems to complete this mini game.

There is also a farm story valentines day that is free. I downloaded it. I did not like the stupid tulips around my farm and the only new thing I could see was a white rose that cost 1 gem. I uninstalled it.

Of all the TL games, it is obvious that BS would be the most likely candidate for a Valentines update, obviously because of the sweets! I have 3 high level bakeries in my household. If the Valentines update does not appear soon, we are out. Our family is really disgusted and disappointed. This site is a JOKE!! On any responsible Game Forum, THEY should be the ones to tell US about a glitch or an update. Unbelievable.

Just downloaded valentine bakery story and got the free gems but it cleared all my counters ( lost all my food in regular bakery story! Has this happdndd to anyone else? Can I get my food back? Please help
