Level 32 is the minimum level for Battle Tournaments
Level 30 is the minimum level for the Battle Arena

Red use: Yellow, Blue, Stone avoid: Green, Dino, Zodiac
Green use: Red, Mythic, Dino, Gemstone avoid: Purple, Black, Stone
Yellow use: Pink, Black, Cosmic, Zodiac avoid: Red, Blue, Gold

I much prefer battles outside of tourneys (well ofc i wouldn't battle outside tourneys at all if not for the crafting bits dropping) even if it means fighting level 10-14 opponents only - the randomness in active tournaments is just too silly too often.

This one luckily started off good, with Black Knight 10 wiping out Fireflash 1 in a most logical way! :)

I'm thinking Olympus may be strong against those champion type dragons like Pyramid, Passion, Soccer, Diamond, and Infinity. But no proof yet.

So looking at the list of upcoming dragons....Olympus, Mischief, Cerberus, Pegasus, Viking, Oracle, Celtic, Scylla, Medusa, Hera, Nano, and Iridescent (rounds 3-14) does it seem that this is a much harder set of early opponents than usual? Or am I imagining things?

Pink is strong to yellow - for early rounds even one strong color is a good choice. :)

I like it better this way. Fighting fire, love, charm, etc in the early rounds every tourney was really kinda boring. I like seeing different ones each time, even if it's the same colors.

Soccer worked for me - first try :). Bash and then a ****er magic spell. Good luck all - never thought I would get this excited about a win. My first two tourneys were tough and I didn't get past round 20 and had a long line in the spa by now. Hoping this bodes well for the last half ;)

Things with the initial rounds seem harder these days, which I find odd. I have lost 4 champions with a 90% chance of winning! when battling mischief in round 4, and I lost round 2 once also. Very odd, statistically speaking. Not sure if others are experiencing this same type of behavior too.

well .. I am WAY behind .. had my flight home today and what with flying and needing to get shopping etc done there is no way I am going to make this one but I am slowly doing it.
I am having a LOT of trouble with the early rounds - just finished 7 and am losing dragons that have a high % chance of winning and that I have won with before - good to see from other people's posts they are also having trouble so I dont feel completely jinxed.
Well done to all of you who have got so far - sorry I dont have time to read all the way back but yay to those of you who are already up to 15 !!!!

Wish me luck .. at this rate I will be doing well if I get to 10 today !

EDIT : just had a look through my past wins with Angelfire and it is pretty random although Diamond appears to win the most ... good luck Maizee and lips nad laraelyn and Freesia and DA and all the others .. is dot here ? How is tuffy doing ?

Hi Clarity - how about a Ruby ? it is a gemstone dragon pretty easy to craft and is great in tournaments together with the emerald ;)
